Centrally located in UNESCO-protected Sintra, within just 100m from National Palace and tourist office, a 5-min walk to Quinta da Regaleira, and 15 min from the train station, Casa da PendĂŽa offers elegant apartments with scenic views of Sintra Mountains and Moorish Castle. The apartments blend modern and antique styles, featuring fully equipped kitchenettes, private bathrooms, and flat-screen TVs.

Offering sea and Sintra Mountain views, including Castelo dos Mouros and Quinta da Regaleira, this room is located 80 meters from Casa da PandĂŽa. This 2nd-floor room includes a king-sized bed and a dining area. Has flat-screen TV and air conditioning. The private bathroom comes with a shower. Please note that this room has no elevator access.

Please note that the access by car to the historic center is closed to traffic. You will need a proof of reservation to access by car and to drop of your luggage since you will not be able to park inside the historical center.
We recommend you to park at estrada da Macieira, the parking is free.

Our stay was far below expectations. The good thing was the location to the downtown. The poor things: 1. Water pressure amounted to a trickle out of the shower. 2. I booked this reservation based on parking available. No such thing. I received an email several days after the booking that parking was not available inside the historic district of Sintra and they were correct. You can't access the property by car. We walked several hundred yards up hill into the historic district to locate the property. Royal pain in the "arse" to say the least. 3. The building didn't have easy signage to access the apartments. 4. Messaging with the staff was through a 3rd party vendor. Response time was horrible. The location to the downtown was great but no accessible by UBER or car. I would not recommend staying here. We stayed in Portugal for 2 weeks staying at various locations and this was the worst experience of the lot.

We never got to see the inside, because no one ever showed up or provided check-in info. After spending 3 hours trying to reach someone while standing outside of the property (in the VERY LOUD square), we got ahold of VRBO corporate - and finally - Wexley corporate - and they STILL could not get ahold of the property managher to let us in (it was 8pm by that point). We got it cancelled, and went elsewhere. Which was not easy to book, seeing as how the biggest event of the year (UTMB) was happening. The NEXT day, we found out that the property manager had send a text via Whatsapp to my husband. He didn't even have the app on his phone until we downloaded it at the suggestion of the Wexley rep. VRBO very clearly states that communications about the stay should occur through VRBO channels to avoid problems. The fact that the ONLY communication about how to access our rental was via an app that no one had mentioned being the ONLY POINT OF CONTACT for the property manager was totally unacceptable.

Huuuuuge bed

This room is nice and has a huuuuuge bed that we loved. The couch is uncomfortable and the hot water didn’t work properly (turned off every few minutes and went cold) but otherwise everything was nice. Great location in Sintra. Note there’s no reception on site at night but they’re available during the day for any questions.
