Om boendet

The flat is on two floors and is located in the town centre above the high street shops, opposite the bus station. Busses go regularly to the train station, London Euston is 20-30mins away. The M1, M25 and A41 are within easy reach.

The keys can be found in a key safe by the front door. I will give details after booking. Access to the flat door is up two flights of stairs and there is no lift, so good for exercise.

Parking is free in King Harry Street but is restricted to between 6.30pm and 08.30am on weekdays and Saturdays and is free all day on Sundays. For daytime parking there are nearby car parks, the Water Gardens North car park is very close 1-2 minutes walk away, and costs a maximum of £4 for the day. The post code for the car park is HP1 1EF.

Nice flat in an excellent locale

Great lodging for 2 - 3 people with all amenities within walking distance (grocery, restaurants, mall, post office, bus) and train station within an 11 min bus ride.

Weekend away

Property perfect inside. Very clean had everything you needed. Up 3 flights of stairs which some might struggle with. Down a narrow corridor.

Nice property but ..

Daniella was lovely and responded quickly to our queries. We didn’t know about all the stairs to the property. It is probably in the listing but needs to be highlighted I think. We couldn’t find the building even though we were actually walking around it asking local people where it is. Unfortunately the bathroom needs some TLC and the ant killer in it and the kitchen was very off putting. The lounge was lovely and we loved the mixture of artefacts around that promoted conversation

Eclectic Flat in an Ideal Location

The flat had everything we needed with easy access to grocery stores, a mall, post office, transportation, restaurants and food trucks. The external property maintenance needs some work, as advised by the owner. Would recommend that general instructions be provided in the flat about how to operate appliances, how to dispose of trash, etc. and information about the wonderful amenities available in the neighbourhood and things to do in Hemel Hempstead. The owner was very responsive to our needs, as required. Thank you!

convenient

As we were only using public transport the flat was very convenient for buses, just outside the door! Also very convenient for popping out to the shops. There were a lot of stairs for heavy suitcases but we were forewarned about them, and about the lack of cleanliness of the entrance and hallway. The flat itself was very clean, comfortable with plenty of space for storage in the bedrooms. Communication was excellent before our stay, but we had some issues during our stay, especially with the shower, with no response to our emails. it would be good to have some instructions in the flat for using the appliances, and the wifi code.

Very dirty flat in central location

The appartement was incredibly dirty when we arrived. A thick layer of dust on all surfaces and bundels of long hairs everywhere on the floor. The host was not responding initially on our request for help, so we cleaned ourself. After contacting Vrbo she finally responded very unsympathetic and slow (for example she didn’t believe us and requested pictures of the situation and send a wrong phone number). After multiple complaints we received only the cleaning money back.

Alloggio curato, condominio piuttosto trasandato

Vorrei segnalare la difficoltà incontrata all'arrivo nell'identificare l'edificio in cui si trovava l'alloggio. Le indicazioni fornite sull'indirizzo erano incomplete e telefonicamente non riuscivamo a capire dove si trovava la casa. La proprietà dovrebbe essere precisa nel fornire le indicazioni per l'accesso all'edificio. Il condomionio è poco curato e piuttosto sporco, mentre l'appartamento è gradevole e pulito.
