En av bara några äkta lägenheter vid havet som finns på den vackra och frodigt anlagda Papakea Resort. F204 ligger precis vid vattnet med spektakulär panoramautsikt över det blå Stilla havet och öarna Lanai och Molokai! Otroliga solnedgångar och valskådning (vinter) från din privata Lanai på andra våningen (bättre utsikt än bottenvåningen). Endast byggnader A, L och F är Oceanfront. Maui blir inte bättre än detta! Icke-rökare har tropisk inredning och har nyligen uppdaterats. Denna enhet har allt som behövs inklusive ett fullt utrustat kök, tvättmaskin / torktumlare, putters, Wifi, strykbräda / strykjärn, hårtork, strandstolar och boogiebrädor. Den har en plattskärms HDTV / DVD-spelare i vardagsrummet med laddningsstation, A / C-enhet plus fläktar i vardagsrum och sovrum. King size-säng i sovrummet och en ny bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet rymmer 3-4 gäster.

Anniversary celebration

The reason for a lower score is that the furniture was very worn and thread bare. And the louvered windows were either stuck open or shut. The screens on an open one were bent and useless. Consequently, I am covered with mosquito bites!! No way to keep them out. The location is amazing. We will stay in the resort again, but not that unit unless the screens are replaced and the windows operational.

Whale Watching

Very nice condo overlooking the ocean . The whale watching was awesome ! Loved our stay at Papakea resort! We had a little trouble with our tv but the resort and owner responded quickly. Thank you for sharing all the amazing beauty of Maui !

Loved it!

Great location, well furnished condo, beautiful grounds and walkable to coffee/grocery/restaurants. There is an AC unit in this condo but it has a hard time cooling the entire unit, especially the bedroom. Might not be an issue if you're not staying in the summer months. That said, we'd definitely stay again. Thank you!

Anniversary trip!

This was our first time to Hawaii and we had a great time! The resort and location were perfect for us. We enjoyed the smaller resort and being able to sit on the balcony to enjoy the ocean and beautiful sunsets! Hope to return in the future!

4th and final baby moon

This was such a wonderful place to wake up in! We mostly used it as a home base for our adventures during the day, but we woke up to whales each morning. All the breakfast places we wanted to try were in close proximity, and we could walk most places we needed to go. When we did get a chance to use the pool it was clean and refreshing and everyone we met were very friendly!

On the water

Very clean and well stocked, comfy king size bed witch is very important to us. Very convenient close to stores, restaurants and beaches very functional even without a car.

Holiday at Papakea

This was our second year at Papakea and it was the perfect place to spend the Holidays with family and friends. The condo was well kept and an amazing oceanfront location. We enjoyed snorkeling and watching whales right from the lanai.

Great view and location

Great views, we saw whales from the balcony pretty much every day. The resort is lovely with all the amenities listed and well kept grounds. If we come back to Maui, we'll certainly stay again.

Wonderful Oceanfront Property!

My wife and I were in Maui for a little over a week, specifically to attend a wedding near the Papakea Resort, and this was the perfect location for our stay. The resort was very nice, and the view from this unit was amazing, especially the sunsets! The location of the property was very convenient, with accessibility to plenty of restaurants and activities both within walking distance and driving (everything we needed/wanted was at most 15 min drive from us). We would highly recommend this listing and hope to get to visit again!

This spot has it all!

We were initially a little nervous to stay in a condo instead of a hotel but it was definitely the right choice! This VRBO condo is part of a condo-resort property with lots of amenities: 2 pools, 2 small putting greens, bbq grills (by the pool), shuffleboard, and it is adjacent to the ocean. Pros: - location! (In a few ways: (1) this unit faces the ocean and, being on the second floor, has the added benefit of no foot traffic right outside your door. (2) Papakea Resort is conveniently located to Kanapali and Lahaina but also far enough that it feels like it's removed from the hustle and bustle (3) conveniently located to shops and restaurants.) - clean, updated space - towels, beach chairs, full kitchen, smart TV - comfortable bed - the most beautiful sunsets (and the sunrises are also stellar) - nice patio furniture - close to a public beach - easy to eat in (all meals) Cons: - kitchen has salt and pepper but not sugar, oil, or coffee. This isn't a deal breaker, of course, but I've stayed in other rentals that did have these staples (or at least enough to get you started). - no A/C in the bedroom. That being said, we stayed in mid July and the bedroom was a comfortable temperature at night - no direct beach access and, although you can get in the water nearby, the swimming/snorkeling isn't the best (hard to get in/out, very rocky, rough in the afternoons).

Wonderful 2nd honeymoon

This was our first trip back to Maui in 25 years since our honeymoon. Alot has changed. This property was beautiful and almost everyone was so friendly. They are strick with their rules as they should be to make all happy. Thank you for a great stay.

Paradise

The owners - Tom and Mary Ann were very gracious hosts. Working with VRBO was an easy process and communication with the property manager was very responsive. Most importantly the location of the property was ideal for either touring the island or just stay local and enjoying the beautiful setting. My wife and I especially enjoyed the Lanai and gentle breeze and sounds of the ocean waves. We would come back again .

Beautiful Location

The location of the condo is great because it's so close to so many beaches and neighborhoods like Kaanapali, Napili and Lahaina. The condo was fabulous and the view from the balcony was exceptional! You are roughly 30 feet from the water! The owners are very easy to get a hold of should anything go wrong. My only note to others staying here - if you are bothered by noise or light in the early mornings, the bedroom can get quite bright and loud with the non-insulated glass windows above the bed, and can be bothersome to those who don't like early mornings. Also, if you are wanting to make full meals, know that you will need to buy all spices and condiments - they only provide salt, pepper, splenda and coffee filters. However, do not let these things deter you from choosing this condo! We had a spectacular time, and would absolutely stay there again!!

Great oceanfront unit

Accurate listing regarding amenities. We had booked about 6 months in advance but then starting getting a bit goosey when Covid numbers were rising. There were 6 of us traveling together that week, all staying different places. We communicated with owners on options if travel was shut down. They were very accommodating in looking at different scenarios, which we appreciated. We were all able to get our 3rd vaccine before we left so we took our chances. Place was very clean. Plus, we felt safer on Maui than the mainland. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was very mask compliant. Only complaint with condo is that every bed pillow was very hard. A variety of softness would be an improvement. However, unit was very Hawaiian in decor and that added to the experience. Third time to Papakea and they are consistent in the beautification of the resort and grounds. Great place to stay and hosts were excellent.

Papakea Paradise

The Papakea Resort is simply one of the best in Maui. Our ocean front unit offered us spectacular access and beautiful sunrise and sunsets. We cooked in our unit every night and the pans and cookware were great. The unit is slightly dated and could use some paint and new bedding, but all in all it was comfortable and met our needs perfectly!

Great location! The condo has everything you need.

The view from the lanai is gorgeous and the setting so peaceful. we found it difficult to leave. When we did venture out, we had all of the supplies we needed in the condo. The small things like lots of hangers, a small cooler for drinks and snacks, ice packs, beach chairs and even beach towels. The USB charging ports were a bonus and the smart TV was a nice touch but we would rather watch and listen to the waves. The washer and dryer were nice to have too (though we never used them but having them available in the unit is very convenient). Overall this condo is perfect and in the perfect location. The resort is quiet and peaceful unlike some of the larger locations just a bit south in Lahaina and completely non-smoking!!

Million dollar view

Just the view made it worth twice what it costs. The owners where great and gave us very useful info about the place and the area. Kaanapali is our favorite spot so that was a no brainer. The property was clean and very well maintained.

Beautiful location and unit

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at F204. I've been to many units at Papakea over the years, this one is nicely updated while maintaining the island feel. Second floor oceanfront location can't be beat, more private than the first floor with people walking by, but low enough that you feel like the waves are right there.

Great Place To Stay

The resort and condo were top notch. Beautiful spot overlooking the water. Perfect location to walk to beaches, food trucks, local shops and more. The owners were very helpful and the condo was very clean. Truly loved our stay & will be back.

We have been coming to Maui for approx 10 years and we always stayed at Papakea in an Oceanfront unit. While here in August of 2015 we saw this unit for sale and closed escrow in November of that year. It was in original condition so we have worked very hard to upgrade the kitchen, bathroom, flooring, A/C and décor since then, with the vanity going in June 2017,. We hope it feels tropical but like your home away from home.
