Truly stunning property in the heart of the Cumbrian countryside with local attractions in walking distance but also the Lake District a short drive away making the perfect location.. 1 step to entrance.
Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: Smart TV, Woodburner
Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge
Utility Room: Freezer, Washing Machine
Separate Toilet.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. . Garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking. There is a sloping bank and a stream in the garden.. A pretty fell side village, Skirwith is set in the heart of the Eden Valley, and Wrens Beck Cottage is a charming semi-detached cottage filled with character and charm, with a garden and views to match. Downstairs, the living/dining room has a charming cosy feel with a wood burner, upstairs the master bedroom has double aspect windows making the most of the views, while the second bedroom has twin beds. The main bathroom has a luxurious freestanding bath with a large shower over, there is also a separate toilet on the ground floor.
The local area has so much to offer. Langwathby with its own train station, where you can journey along the Carlisle to Settle route, stopping off at historic Carlisle, enjoying some retail therapy, or just stay aboard for the beautiful views. For busy days of exploration, be sure to visit Lacyâs Caves, a series of five chambers carved out of the sandstone cliff, set along a beautiful walking route with views of the river and wonderful garden to admire. Not too far you can find Long Meg and her daughters, one of the finest stone circles in the north of England. If you are looking for activities to occupy the family, Lazonby outdoor swimming pool can be reached in 15 minutes by car and is open from April- September.
