The apartment is located right in the heart of downtown Cedarburg; we were a 5-10 minutewalk from anything we wanted to do! The apartment itself was clean, the hosts were easy to reach if we had questions, and they even let us know of possible traffic issues as there was a smaller festival in the next block. It was the perfect size for 5 adults. Would absolutely stay again!

Ideal for Exploring Cedarburg

This was the second time we have stayed in this property. We had a good experience the first time so this was our first choice when visited Cedarburg again. The property is roomy, clean and close to the shops of Cedarburg. Communication with the hosts was excellent.

Girls trip

Booked this adorable apartment with ease. The hosts were very responsive and made the whole process seamless. Location was perfect! Two of us were from Chicago and the other one was visiting relatives in Cedar Grove (she lives in FL). Perfect place to meet! Parked in their lot then walked to the Stilt house for delicious burgers. Unfortunately we only had one day and it rained most of the day so we didn’t do much walking around, but the table was perfect for us to play cards.And we did make it outside to watch the county fair’s fireworks, which thankfully the hosts informed us about!I volunteered to sleep on the sofa bed and was very grateful that it actually was comfortable!Would definitely recommend this place!

This is our second year staying at this cute apartment in downtown Cedarburg and enjoying all the Christmas festivities. No need to worry about parking as you are right downtown. We will definitely be back next year.

Girls overnight trip

My 2 sisters, my mom and I came to Cedarburg to celebrate my moms birthday. The apartment is in prime location and the owners are amazing. Communication was great and they were very accommodating. The apartment has everything you need- comfortable beds, plenty of blankets, lots of room for games, and within walking distance of everything. We are excited to visit againdefinitelagain.

Overnight getaway

The property is located in the heart of Cedarburg. Easy walk to shops and restaurants! It was cold and rainy when we arrived, but we greatly enjoyed doing a tiny puzzle that was in a basketful of games in the living room while we sipped hot tea.

Spotless and cute!!

This is such a cute place. You immediately feel at home with the warm decor and nice touches, like flowers, games, magazines, etc. The location is perfect, giving you access to walk right into the shops and restaurants of Cedarburg. And it was soooooo clean!! I mean really clean, not just "clean" like other rentals.

Awesome location - nice apartment

I stayed with my daughter and niece for a girls weekend. The apartment has enough space for 2 vehicles, which was perfect for us. We were so close to all the restaurants and shops, we walked everywhere and once the car was parked, we never used it again until it was time to leave. The apartment was really cute, clean and well stocked with everything you'd need. I'd stay there again!

Lovely place in downtown Cedarburg

This place is clean and roomy and is located in downtown Cedarburg. We were close to everything so it was perfect and our host was very accommodating. We enjoyed Brandywine for upscale dining, Anvil Pub & Grille which is along the river had great food and great drinks. The Stilt House had great food and tasty drinks along with Fiddleheads for coffee, their muffins were yum. Visited the coverage bridge which was lovely and walked the Lion's Den Gorge Nature Preserve along with a walk along the beach, outstanding. Perfect place for a girls weekend or couples getaway.

Perfect "Hallmark" Girls Weekend

We had an amazing trip to Cedarburg. Our apartment was right on the same street as all the shops and restaurants. We were able to easily drop off items we didnt want to carry. As we walked and shopped, the perfect snow fell making us feel like we were part of a Hallmark Christmas movie. The apartment was perfect for the 4 of us ladies. We'll be back next year for sure!

Cedarburg Girls Getaway

I heard Cedarburg was a fun place for a getaway, and it didn’t disappoint, except for we visited on a Tuesday and a few wineries were closed. Lol We will return, our vrbo was wonderful, great location, right on Washington Ave. We parked the car and could walk to all the shops and restaurants. Kathleens apartment is cozy, very clean, and comfortable. Loved the Christmas tree!!! Has all the amenities you need. We loved it!! All her suggestions were spot on! Great communication. Lunch at the Anvil Pub and dinner at the stilt House were excellent!!! Friendly towns people We would love to return when we could stay longer

A perfect Thanksgiving holiday stay n

Our family came to Cedarburg to enjoy Thanksgiving with our son who attends CUW and lives in Cedarburg. From the beginning of our booking Kathy helped us by suggesting a place to order our holiday meal and providing details about Cedarburg’s festive Friday events. Upon arrival day Kathy was in touch with us. She made sure to provide a tablecloth, napkin linens, extra chairs and surprised us with a beautiful handcrafted centerpiece for our Thanksgiving celebration. We felt so cared for and were so comfortable in the wonderful property. The location could not be better, the host could not be more kind or more attentive. The property is well stocked, incredibly clean, and provides an unparalleled level of comfort. If visiting the lovely town of Cedarburg definitely book a stay at the Wandernhaus. We will be back!!

The original house was built in the late 1800's. After a few additions with the last one in the 1990's the 2 bedroom apartment offers updated amenities but is situated on Washington Ave where it all happens, but set off the road for some privacy.
