Dating back to the 18th century, this property was previously an Ale House and still holds tons of original character. It has a claw footed, roll-top bath for a relaxing soak after a day filled with holiday adventures and a cosy log burner, set back in an original inglenook fireplace, the perfect spot to wind down in the evening with a glass of wine.
The quirky kitchen has a feature wall with the ‘old ale house scrummy kipper pate’ recipe scripted across it, a wonderful dish to make during your stay at the cottage, but if you prefer to dine out, this cottage is located a short walk from the village pub or just a little further to the eateries of Craster fishing village!
Size : Sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms
Beds : 1 with king size bed, 1 single sofa bed (to be requested at time of booking), 2 single beds
Rooms : Ground floor: Entrance hallway. Living room. Kitchen/diner. Utility area. Rear porch. First floor: Bedroom 1 with king size bed and single sofa bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bathroom with freestanding bath and separate shower cubicle.
Kitchen & utilities : Range cooker and hob. Microwave. Fridge/freezer. Dishwasher. Washing machine.
Entertainment : TV/DVD. Music system
For families : Travel cot and high chair on request. Toys and games
Outside : Gravelled and planted rear courtyard garden area with seating
Parking : Gravelled parking to the front for up to 2 cars
