I love outdoor life, especially skiing and walking. My main sport is Judo. I love music, and playing piano.
My wife, kids and I fell in love with Venosc 15 years ago and would stay there forever if we could!
Our house was a challenging 5 year project to renovate and bring the building back to life. We hope our house will be as rewarding to Venosc as it is for us, and we are delighted to be able to share it.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
We had admired the house for many years. It was a cherished family home. the house was in very poor condition and as a structural engineer championing conservation, this 16th century house was dream project. I originally planned a renovation concept for a local couple as a restaurant and flat and when that fell through we saw the potential for ourselves and decided to have a go.

The construction was thought to be near impossible without a crane, and that a crane was not possible to situate near enough to the house. I disagreed from my experience, and after a long period of planning and persuasion we applied for our permits and planned the construction. Over all - a 4 year journey!

The mountain and valley views are amazing, and something you wold never tier of. Our location in the heart of Venosc's cultural centre is super beautiful.
Venosc is a very well known 16th century cultural destination. It is tranquil and, in its own way, pleasantly vibrant with its 4 restaurant bars and several artisan shops and art galleries.
Venosc has direct access to les Deux Alpes Resort vi the Venosc Telecabine (10 minute ride). With a car, other resorts are easily accessed - Aple D'huez (25 minutes) and la Grave (35 minutes)
There are many world class winter and summer events on Venosc's door step, including two Tour de France mountain and flat stages, Alpe d'HuZes' gruelling 24 hour charity cycle climb, and the Marmotte Granfondo monster cycle tour over the cols and valleys surrounding Venosc.
We are an ideal 'off season' offer, as an excellent retreat or workcation location. Complete silence except for the distant roar of the Cascade de Muzelle, church bell, bird calls and occasional goat herds.
