Om boendet

> Vackert viktorianskt hus, nyrenoverat, på lugn gata, 3 minuters promenad till liv och rörelse Shepherds Bush, (västra) centrala London.

Det är otroligt bra för London sightseeing, bara en 10 minuters tunnelbana (= tunnelbana / tunnelbana) åktur till sevärdheterna. Du kan också gå runt hörnet till Westfield, Londons nyaste och mest klassiska köpcentrum, den gamla BBC HQ, nu ett smart ställe att äta / dricka cocktails. Mycket nära Holland Pk, Notting Hill och Olympia ...

> Sammanfattning av mitt hus:

- 4 sovrum: 3 dubbelrum med stora lyxiga sängar och ett 4: e ljuvt litet sovrum med en enkel, mycket bekväm divanbädd som passar både vuxen och barn.

- Köksdörrar öppna (konsert) på en uteplats så att du kan gå rakt ut ...
- Jag kommer att ge dig skarpa vita bomullslakan och handdukar och matlagningsprodukter.

- Lämplig för professionella, vänner och familjer. Trädgård (uteplats).

- Barnvänlig: Jag har en barnstol, barnstol, baby rocker, comfy resor spjälsäng med rent strö, baby videoskärm, leksaker, böcker ... Jag kan också ge en sidovägg för den enkla divan sängen om ditt barn är för stort för en barnsäng men du oroar dig för att de faller ur sängen! Användbar för kanske en för en 2-5 år gammal ... Det finns trappport på toppen av trappan.

> Utrymmet:

Mitt hus har två våningar (nivåer). Med mattor trappor. Och en trappport på toppen. Ingen annan bor över eller under dig ...

Bottenvåningen:

- Entré med trappor går upp till de flesta sovrummen.

- Rymlig huvudsaklig öppen planlösning med vardagsrum / kök med stort ekbord och 8 stolar, två stora soffor den andra änden för sittande och chatta, glas soffbord, TV med kabel, Netflix etc ... Glasdörrar som leder ut till uteplatsen. Golvvärme.

- Det är ett mycket välutrustat kök för kockar. Diskmaskin, elektrisk ugn med grill och en elektrisk halogen (induktion) spis, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, mixer, elektrisk riskokare, brödrost. Också en tvättmaskin med torktumlare. Och den magiska Quooker-krukan som avger kokande vatten, filtrerat vatten eller normalt varmt / kallt.

- Stor uteplats trädgård med stort rektangulärt bord och 8 bekväma stolar för al fresco dining!

- Sovrum 1 - rymligt rum med härlig helt ny king size-säng, garderob, golvvärme, byrå, touch lampor, resväska stativ...

- Nedre våningen WC och duschrum (badrum 2) - detta byggdes sommaren 2018 så är helt nytt och gjord med underbara italienska stenporslinplattor, golvvärme.

På övervåningen:

- Sovrum 2 har en king size-säng (amerikanerna kallar det här en drottning - den är 5'5 "bred), en lång garderob med bälte, antikt bord och stol för skrivning, byrå för kläder, spegel, resväskor etc.

Sängen har en fickpinnad orthapedic madrass topper som gör den ännu bekvämare. Det är medelstarkt.

- Sovrum 3 har en lyxig, massiv, super king (6 ft bred) divan säng med pocket sprung madrass och madrass topper.

- Sovrum 4 har en söt divan, gardiner med ett sött gårdsbruk och ett litet skåp. Och en docka hus med människor och Sylvania djur inuti. Detta är ett mycket litet rum men det är verkligen sött och mysigt.

- Badrum 1 med badkar och dusch (dusch är inne i badet istället för separat duschkabin). Badet har en övre rostdusch och ett andra duschhuvud som du kan använda medan du sitter i badet (jag gillar det här!). Handfat, WC. Uppvärmd handduksstång.

Du har platsen själv! Men jag kommer att vara kontaktbar under hela din vistelse via telefon, text, whatsapp, FaceTime eller e-post - oavsett vad du föredrar i kommunikationen !. Om du har en utländsk telefon kan du ringa mig från hustelefonen för att spara dina telefonkostnader!

När du bokar kommer jag att skicka information om allt från var du kan köpa mat, simma, springa, göra yoga, äta ute (bästa London-vegan och glutenfria restauranger ingår!) Och några barns aktiviteter. Också husmanualen (hur man använder ugnen etc).

Om du kommer i en tid när jag är borta kan du samla nycklar från min vänliga lokala conviencebutik, om du ger dem en hemlig kod (som ändras med varje samling av säkerhetsskäl). Jag kommer också att ringa dig när du är där för att du är glad och svara på några frågor - och ring ett telefonsamtal bort under din vistelse.

> Stadsdelen

Mycket centralt - precis bredvid Holland Park / Notting Hill men lite mer kosmopolitisk, särskilt längs Uxbridge Road där du kan äta dig själv runt om i världen varje natt.

De fyra gatorna i denna Caxton-triangeln (som de kallar det) är väldigt tysta, en liten oas av lugn mitt i det livliga West London. Alla som kommenterar hur tyst gatan är, givet hur mycket går runt runt hörnet!

Några minuters promenad och området surrar med barer och restauranger, biografer, Westfield ...

Kultur: Opera i Holland Park, andra musiklokaler som Bush Hall och Shepherd's Bush Empire. En härlig ny lokal teater, The Bush Theatre, om du föredrar off-Broadway / frans ...

Trevlig flod promenader ... inte långt att gå till den vackra Holland Park och Hyde Park som är strålande speciellt på sommaren.

Fantastiska restauranger inom 5 minuters promenad. Uxbridge Road är mycket kosmopolitisk och massor av mat från hela världen.

Westfield köpcentrum ligger precis intill. BBC är en 5 minuters promenad. Olympia en 10 minuters promenad.

Mycket bra ansluten via rör och bussar till centrala London och du kan taxi / uber för £ 10.

Levande gemenskap med lokal teater, parker, yoga / pilates plats, vinbar, kaféer, biografer ...

> Att komma runt

Mycket centralt. 3 minuters promenad till tunnelbana, bussar och tunnelbana.
När du bokar, skickar jag dig detaljerad information med kartor och länkar för att komma runt, inklusive mina bästa tips för att komma hit från flygplatser ...

> Parkering:

De flesta människor kommer inte ha bilar men om du gör det, och om du vill parkera precis utanför huset, kan du. Liksom i de flesta Londons gator är det betalt och visat - för £ 2. 80 en timme.

För längre sikt parkering, kan du parkera i Westfield köpcentrum för £ 8 för en hel 24 timmar - det billigaste stället i centrala London! - och lämna det över natten utan extra kostnad - mina vänner alla parkera där om de kommer till stan! Du kan lämna din bil där över natten eller flera nätter på ett säkert sätt. Det är en säker 5 minuters promenad tillbaka till huset, via Waitrose om du behöver lite mat! :)

Family trip to London

Six of us were traveling to London so I was hoping to find a place to rent with 4 bedrooms. I was so happy that Bella's place was available. So convenient to transportation lines and lots of places nearby for shopping and dining. We arrived before check in time and were fortunate enough to be able to get into the property to drop our bags. Bella provided us with so much information about the neighborhood, restaurant recommendations, highlights of the city and so much more. Her communication was above and beyond. By the end of the trip I felt like we were old friends. As for the property, we had plenty of space for six of us to move around and be comfortable. We were a party of 4 twenty something's and two parents. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. There was a lovely garden that we unfortunately didn't get to use as we stayed in January and the weather wasn't great for time outside. And the neighborhood was quiet o we could rest up at night for our days of touring. Such a great place. And Bella was nice enough to provide us with a great welcome basket.

Perfect stay in London

This property is nestled on a quiet, residential street less than a five minute walk to the tube and many bus lines. The owner was present to greet us at check-in and provided many tips for travel and sightseeing.

We stayed in this townhouse for a full month, exploring the surrounding areas in a more leisurely fashion. The accommodations were good with very comfortable beds and pillows. Bella was a wonderful landlord, meeting us upon arrival and doing a quick run through of the space. We did have an issue with the appliances shutting down along with the wi-fi and outlets upstairs. An electrician was called to the premises around 9:00 PM to troubleshoot the cause. Not sure if having 6 people may have overloaded the circuitry but we decided to use the local laundry services for the cleaning of our clothes. Bella did reimburse us for one night stay for the inconvenience which we appreciated. The area is rather sketchy so one must be cautious when going out especially at night. The place is very close to public transportation which we implemented each day.

We had an amazing stay! The location is great with everything we needed within walking distance. Bella went above and beyond to be sure we had a great experience in London. She was so helpful as I was planning our trip and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this property and I hope to return many times in the future.

Wonderful West End location and host

My husband and two sons stayed at Arabella's flat for two weeks in Spring 2024 and had a wonderful stay. Arabella could not have been more helpful in helping us plan how to get to her flat and shared ideas and tips for our visit in London. She had instructions for everything in her home, which was on the perfect quiet street, but close to two underground stations and several bus stops and eating options. I would highly recommend to anyone who was considering a stay here.

Clean, Convenient, and Quiet

This property was perfect for our 10 day visit. It was close to the Underground and Overground, tons of restaurants, walking distance to the local market and tucked away so it wasn't on a super busy road. Arabella was such a wonderful host, she met us early and showed us around the home, but also the area...even supplying us with essentials for our mornings. I can't stress enough how lovely the accommodations were, how friendly our host was, and the numerous options we had for good and different food nearby each day. We had such a lovely time and would recommend to anyone and everyone!

London Family Vacation

We spent a week touring London and the home was perfect for what we needed. It has a great kitchen/dining area and a really quaint outdoor patio. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and our host made sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is really quiet and felt very safe. The underground station is just a 3 minute walk and there is tons of shopping and dining in the area. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it.

Peaceful neighborhood near Underground Station

This is a comfortable home on a peaceful street with all the amenities you would need. You could not find an owner who cares more about you enjoying your stay. There is a killer breakfast spot a 3 minute walk away and plenty of options for meals at the most gigantic shopping mall you have ever seen only a couple of blocks away. The Underground station is also a short walk so you can get to anywhere in London very easily from here. This is a good place to choose.

5 Star House, 5 Star Host!

My husband, three children and I had the pleasure of staying at Bella's house in Shepherd's Bush. The house is located on a quiet street that's within walking distance to both the underground and overground train stations. Also within walking distance are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and the sister mall the to largest mall in Europe. Our accommodations were perfect for the five of us. My children are 25, 23, and 17 so it was important for them to each have their own bedroom. There are four comfortable rooms with super comfortable beds and two bathrooms. Plenty of space in the kitchen area for all of as well as in the living room area, plus a lovely patio with garden in a quiet courtyard. There's a reason Bella is super host. From the moment I booked the house, she sent us PDFs with information no the house, the neighborhood and London. She was kind enough to answer all my questions (and I had plenty). When we arrived, we were greated by her friend, Aneesa, who gave us a tour of the house and answered any questions we had. Throughout our stay, Bella was available for additional questions we had (like where's the best place to purchase a reasonably priced pair of sneakers). The house itself was clean and comfortable. Bella had stocked the house with plenty of food to get us started for our visit. The grocery store was a short walk and was easy to get to whenever we needed to stock up. We even ordered out for food delivery one night which went perfectly without

Hostess with the mostest!!!

I cannot say enough about my stay at Bella's place, starting with how amazing she was with providing an extensive amount of information upon booking to assist me with planning. She continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 5 and the location was close to everything. I would highly recommend considering staying at Bella's, even if it is just to experience what a true "Super Host" really means.

Very good west side, 5 day stay

Great hostess for information and communication. Very good location for a non-central stay in London. Access to a few tube lines makes it easy to get places without major hustle and bustle on your doorstep. Wasn't sure about the mall...but having some restaurants so close comes in handy after a day of exploring. Plenty of more 'local' options to dine at plus grocers nearby. Home had everything we needed. Slept our families comfortably. Loved the little outside space. Perfect to relax for a drink after a long day. Would stay there again.

Wonderful home in a wonderful neighborhood!

We stayed at Arabella's home--three couples and a toddler--and had a wonderful time! The house was well stocked and comfortable. Everything felt very clean. The large dining table lent itself to long dinners that went late into the night. The neighborhood around the home was fun to explore and close to various modes of transportation. Would love to stay here again if we return to England with a large group!

Excellent Accomodations and Location

Our hostess, Arabella, gave us a personal tour of her lovely home and showed us the ins and outs of using all the applicances, which are different than what we are used to in the US and Canada. The tube was an easy few minute walking distance, the neighborhood was safe and quiet. The beds were comfortable and having 2 bathrooms, one with a tub, suited our needs perfectly. She took us on a short tour as we were heading to grocery shop and pointed out restaurants, the mall and the grocery all also a few minute walk from her home. We used Uber, and never had any issues with drivers arriving at our location. We were four adult women and each had their own bed. One bedroom is a twin and is a tiny room, which I used, and shared the wardrobe in the beautiful room next to it. This was easy and not an issue, as the wardrobe had plenty of space.

Amazing house, amazing host!

We have a fantastic stay in London. Bella was an amazing host and made us feel like home. She gave her best to make our stay unforgetable. The house is perfectly connected to the tube/train/bus and at the same time in a quiet residential area. Everything in the house was perfect, 3 big bedrooms and a big dinner table to share the moments with friends or family. The place has a lot of light and was very clean. We will come again in our next visit to London!

Terrific house, spectacular host

My husband and I rented this house for six weeks. We didn't want to leave. The rooms are all good sized, the house is light and airy and clean, and extremely well maintained. Bathrooms and kitchen are modern and well put together. There are two subway lines 3 and 5 minutes from the house, and the London Overground is across the street from one subway stop - I can't imagine a better location for transportation options. The street is quiet and very pleasant. And while I'm not a fan of malls, we found the proximity of Westfield very convenient for groceries, Boots, Marks & Spencer, and some pretty nice restaurants. Coffee houses minutes from the house, a nice flower stand, and a couple of good pubs - everything we needed. It was wonderful, after a busy day, to come back to this house and relax. I can't possibly say enough, however, about our host. Bella was there when we arrived, showed us everything, provided a lot of information about the house, the neighborhood and London in general, and responded to questions or concerns right away. Everything she did seemed designed to help us have a positive experience. She's a lovely person, and one of the many reasons we missed London as soon as the plane took off.

This was our first time booking a stay that wasn’t through an agent or hotel. Well I couldn’t recommend it more, Bella was host extraordinaire and assisted us above and beyond making our stay and journey so much easier. We really felt at home, her space is wonderful and tranquil and a great place to recoup after hectic London activities. It is also the best position to travel from for underground, overground and buses and having Westfield on your doorstep was an added bonus for some downtime and shopping. (We went almost daily) We will absolutely be back to stay again. 5 star and more!!

This property was very nice! The description on the website was accurate and we enjoyed staying here. The owner was very accessible and was very eager to help us any way she could. The location of the property was very convenient for access to the tube and a huge shopping mall. Groceries, pharmacies, local eateries and pubs were all within a short walking distance. We will definitely consider this property again if we plan to travel to London.

Just Fab

Bella was a great hostess who made the effort to ensure we got oriented with not only the house but the neighbourhood and the greater London area. Great shopping nearby for everything you could ever want and close to the tube for easy access to wherever you want to go. The home was modern, clean and inviting and we would highly recommend.

Amazing host and house , Perfect position for a stay in London

Bella is an amazing host. Everything was set up to a tee and the house was a perfect size for our family of five including 3 teenagers. Close to the underground for easy 10 minute access to the centre of London. Near Westfield for all your other needs including groceries etc . I would highly recommend staying at Bella’s house and hopefully sometime in the future I will have a chance to visit again .

High-quality house in a great location with a brilliant host

We booked Arabella’s house so that seven of us could attend a friend’s wedding in Holland Park. From the outset Bella was really swift to respond and great at communicating. I had some problems when I tried to make the payment due to an issue at my end, but Bella was very patient and accommodating while this was sorted out. The instructions about how to get to the house and collect the keys, and the information about the house and the local area were all really clear and well-produced. Arriving and collecting keys went exactly as planned and was very convenient. Bella’s home is a fantastic place to stay. It’s a high-quality property, was spotlessly clean and well-presented, and very well-equipped. It was very comfortable and welcoming, and the street is quiet and pleasant, despite being so close to the high street. When we arrived we parked at Westfield shopping centre, which is only a few minutes walk away. We attended a ceremony in Holland Park and a reception in Sheperd’s Bush, so could not have asked for a better location. For it to be such a lovely house as well was just perfect. Bella left some items for us so that we didn’t have to go to the shops as soon as we arrived, which was really kind. She got in touch to make sure we had arrived ok and let us know that we could contact her with any problems. In short she was an excellent host and I highly recommend staying at this property. Music-minded mother of one, also working in media/music. My charismatic little daughter and we split our time between this home in London and half in a little cottage in the Cotswolds… I can't live with out without my Apple Mac computers, a swimming pool nearby, London's cultural offerings... and of course my daughter. Not necessarily in that order! I'm house proud and keep things rather clean and tidy, but I would hope that's a good thing!

I love West London! Shepherd's Bush is just a bit further west than Notting Hill and Holland Park, so natives would argue it's just that bit cooler and more cosmopolitan...

Fun fact: the area is called Shepherd's Bush because it was (in the 19th and early 20th century) a pasture for shepherds on their way to sell their sheep at the still famous Smithfield market in East London.

The house itself has just been refurbished - new kitchen, underfloor heating, well-equipped and quiet, in a family neighbourhood, but only a few minutes from the bustle of Uxbridge Road which is a bit like NYC's 42nd Street!

The house is also less than 5 minutes to the tube which takes you into the centre of town in 10 minutes. It's also less than 5 minutes to to Westfield (Europe's largest shopping mall, for the initiated - for those who are less shopping-oriented, it's still fantastically convenient for restaurants, groceries (the wonderful Waitrose), the Apple Store, John Lewis...) the BBC, grocery stores, every kind of restaurant you could imagine, parks...

If you book I have a welcome pack with pdfs that list all the best local restaurants, where to swim, do yoga, take your kids to run around...

I love that you can open the back doors to the patio and have the whole space open. It's also a really cosy house, with a large open plan living/eating area so it's a sociable place to be with your family and friends. I take great pride in providing hotel-style deliciously comfortable beds with crisp white linen and fluffy white towels, combined with a homely feel. It's so central and easy to get into central London via the tube which is a 3-minute walk away via the shortcut...

And Westfield is so handy. It has an Apple Store, a John Lewis, a Waitrose, a Boots and a Zara. And hundreds of other stores. That's me covered :)
