First class accomodation

Cannot rate this accommodation highly enough. Absolutely fantastic stay! The accommodation was in an excellent location close to everything we needed. The facilities were spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly from start to finish. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Lovely apartment, it was spotlessly clean with all the amenities we needed.We didn’t need to buy any essentials such as basics cleaning supplies spice and condiments.The kitchen utensils were better than home.The beds were very comfy and there was ample room for our family of 5.The are was very central but was very quite at night.Tavira is magical, very historic and beautiful, lots of wonderful places to eat ( we recommend Nikita ) entertainment in the square and lots of markets.Although there is lots going on it feels very relaxed family orientated and not rowdy.We love portugal and have been lucky enough to visit a lot of the algarve but nowhere as pretty as Tavira.We would love to come again !

Nothing more you could ask for, apartment has all the utensils you need and is super close to the town centre. Loved it so much we booked for next year whilst staying.

Excellent property

We absolutely loved our time here, large apartment, clean tidy with everything you could possible need for our stay. The apartment is in a perfect location a short walk to the supermarket, the town, local sites and to the ferry that takes you to the beautiful island. A food hamper with crackers, milk, juice, wine etc was there for our arrival and the apartment had all the essentials for our stay, we couldn’t have asked for more. We had such a lovely stay we’re looking to book for next year.

Perfect location

The owner provided amenities which made this stay enjoyable. The unit was clean and comfortable. Also, the location was central to Tavira. A car is not necessary in that everything was in walking distance. I'm not sure that we could have picked a better location.

60th Birthday !

Fabulous apartment, right in the heart of places to eat, shop. Well equipped if you want to say in and cook. Boat 5 mins away to get to beach. Would highly recommend.

fabulous three bed apartment in centre of Tavira

Firstly, communication with the owner and his supporting staff was always responsive and Olga is a treasure as she is kindly sending back some items that we left behind. We stayed in the apartment for four weeks and found it spacious, modern and provided everything we needed for our stay. The neighbours are friendly as were all the local people we met. The area is fabulous with some beautiful buildings and cobbled streets leading to the river front which has plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. There are also historical sites and the train and bus station are within easy walking distance. We would love to stay again in the near future.

Another great stay!

Another great winter stay in Tavira! Thanks again to Mr. Barrias for allowing us to rent his condo. The location is great for walking to all the local services and for touring around the Algarve and into Spain The condo is fully equipped to meet all your needs for daily living. The owner and his property manager Olga, and her staff, are very helpful and available if needed. We will be back!!

A great stay

We had a great stay in this apartment. Its location in the old town was perfect, very central for shops and restaurants, and 5 mins’ walk to reach the ferry to the beautiful beaches. The apartment was clean, quiet, spacious, and provided with the best range of household utensils and essentials that we’ve ever come across in a self-catering facility. A selection of welcome supplies was also much appreciated. The owner, Jose, was very quick to communicate and answer any questions we had before we arrived. His agent Olga was very helpful, and when our flight was delayed and we arrived at the apartment in the early hours, she turned up to meet us without complaint. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

I have stayed in this complex in various apartments many times but never in this apartment before. No negative aspects to report, the apartment is beautifully presented, with everything you need for a home from home! The owner also left a welcome package for us which was unexpected but very welcome after travelling. Thanks so much Jose, will definitely book your apartment again!

Great Apartment in good central location

We were very impressed with the apartment and its location. The owner had great communications with us and kept us informed about everything we needed to know. Sandra, the local agent who managed the property, was very friendly and helpful and also had very good prompt communications with us. A Welcome Return

Our second stay at this property, and we loved it as much as before. The spacious apartment was spotlessly clean, in a well-maintained, small complex. The location is perfect for us, being in a quiet, pretty street, yet just a few minutes' walk from the local amenities - small supermarket and shops, bars, restaurants, cafes, ATM, fish market, beach ferry, and the many cobbled streets of Tavira to explore. The town has a magical appeal, particularly when lit up at night. We shall be returning.

Wonderful location/Well equipped Condo

My family, ages 2 months to 83 years, and I had a wonderful stayin this condo. The location cannot be beat. We didn't have a vehicle, although there is parking for one if you do, and we were able to easily walk anywhere we wanted to go. The condo was also funished with everything we needed. I can see why this booking is rarely available. The condo's owner and his manager were quick to respond when I had questions. A great stay in a beautiful condo, and town!

Beautiful accommodation in a wonderful city!!

This was our second time to stay in Jose's apartment in Tavira. It is the perfect location for a long term stay in this relaxing city. We come here to "live" for a couple months and this is the place to do that!! Jose and his property manager Olga are easy to communicate with and very attentive to any of our questions or concerns. The apartment is fully equipped for all your daily living needs and provides easy walking access to all the local services. You don't need a car but, if you do have one, there is an underground parking garage. We had another wonderful time in this great apartment, and in Tavira, and will be back again!

Duplex review

Property was excellent in all respects. Only slight problem was the double bed upstairs which was too firm for my wife who has two hip replacements. Suggested solution: Supply optional 5 centimeter memory foam mattress topper. Also had bit minor problem finding TV channels. Otherwise perfect.

My experience through Vrbo and the owner, Jose, was excellent. You are always wary when booking a place abroad, but the description of property and whole process was easy and honest. The appartment is very well equipped, especially for a large group. The fixture and fittings are of excellent quality and comfortable. Being of mixed ages, the flat having two floors gave the older members of party a quiet restful area. The pool was a real bonus with the children and the location is superb for the ferry, shops and restaurants. I would strongly recommend this accommodation and Jose was a very approachable host. Apologies,I wrote this just after we returned home, hadn't realised I had not forwarded message.
