A must stay

This property was so beautiful and close to all of the best things to do on the Amalfi Coast. The property manager Gigi was gracious and was very friendly and helpful. He was always available to assist us in any situation.

Paradise along the coast!

Our stay in Raito was phenomenal! The views from the house are unmatched. It is close to mini market & the bus stop. The property gives off a relaxing atmosphere and is well kept. Pierluigi is an excellent host. He is very thorough and easy to communicate with. He made sure we had all the information we needed to get around. He also was kind enough to give us a lift from Salerno station & to the airport. Overall a fantastic stay!

Amazing experience

A beautiful property, clearly loved and cared for by owner. Everything you can asked for but with a lovely history attached. The host Piereluigi could not have been more helpful, even collected us from station. Communication was excellent and helpful. It has been one of the nicest places we stayed and defenately contributed to by the host.

A great place to start your Amalfi Coast adventures

After explaining where to park the car, Pierluigi met us and took us to the apartment.The check-in process was very clear and detailed, while the schedules for the local and regional buses along with the links to the coastal ferry services were very useful.The whole place was very clean. The bed on the mezzanine level was large and comfortable. (Note that the mezzanine ceiling is low with two steel beams, so mind your head).The shower is good if a little cramped.The apartment overlooks the Mediterranean, which is a great way to start the day.Please note that access to the apartment in Raito is up a steep, narrow and very winding road with cars parked alongside. If you're renting a car, I strongly recommend getting a small one (e.g. Peugeot 208, Citroën C3 or a Fiat 500). You'll be glad you did!!To really get the most from your stay on the Amalfi coast, I recommend parking up the car and making use of the local bus and ferry services. You'll soon understand why.Pierluigi, the host, is excellent and he provided help, advice and assistance very willingly. He is a great resource.Thank you, again, Pierluigi.

Gigi Is The Best

What can I say about the host of this property! Gigi was simply the best host, great person and very helpful from the moment we got there till the moment we left the property. The property is very cozy and it reflects the Amalfi Coast style of buildings. It is tucked on the top of the hill with few shops and a church nearby. Gigi made arrangements for us to be picked up by a near by restaurant for dinner and a ride back home. The view from the window was spectacular. The streets are narrow and I highly suggest not to drive to this property or rent a car due to lack of parking. I give this property and Mr. Gigi (the host) a 10 stars if I can. Thank you Gigi for everything.

Nice stay off the beaten path

Very clean apartment. Host was very attentive and quick to respond to questions we had throughout our stay. He recommended places to see and to eat and provided information on ferry and bus schedules if we needed. Driving access to the location is on some very narrow roads with traffic lights controlling one way traffic at a time. We had rented an Audi Q5 and it was a tight fit in places but doable. Host has a local guy where you can park your vehicle in his garagd for a fee payable to the owner of the garage space. Best thing aboug the rental was its location. Great view of the ocean and very quiet neighbourhood with few tourists. So a more of an authentic experience of Italy than i think you would find in the larger towns along the coast. And the restaurant up the road, "il Cavalier die Costi" had excellent food and service with very reasonable pricing. Overall a great experience.
