Good place to stay!

Comfortable place in quiet neighborhood that is convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants. Beach is less than ten minutes walk. Nicely furnished with comfortable beds. Would recommend. Thanks for the nice stay!

Hidden Gem!

The Reef Runner was very clean! A adorable quiet little beach house. The shade of the trees keep our truck cool. The furniture and beds was very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked. The beds & towels was ready to use. Hidden Gem! Thank you!

Not what expected

The inside was fine for our brief stay , but never in the listing was it stated that this was a mobile home. That did make a difference. It was drafty and had a smell of cat pee when we opened it. Also , the request we bring our own linen and towels was totally not expected either. If this was a beach stay thing might have been alright. We made it work , but not what we expected or felt we paid for. I think it needs to be very clear in the listing that location is great, but it is an older mobile home.

Our stay was one of the best places ever that we have stayed. Our host was super nice and answered any questions I had. The place was really clean and great and we will be coming back. The only thing that sucked is that it rained all Memorial weekend 2023.

Great quiet spot.

We were visiting for a workation (we do landscaping). The space was perfect for what we needed. It is close enough to everything and walking to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and laundry room. It was a pleasure to meet our host. Super sweet people! We will stay again.

Oak Island 2023

Spacious and clean. There is beach gear, which is a nice option. Not too far from the beach. Great location if you are wanting to stay in Oak Island or go to Southport.

Family vacation 2022

This property is so homey and made a very nice vacation home for myself and my family. It was so close to the beach and very conveniently located for places to go for day trips also. The owner was very easy to communicate with and she always answered very quickly. I would recommend this highly for homey comfort and location.

Excellent stay!

This rental is equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We especially enjoyed the bicycles that were available for us to use along with beach chairs. Would definitely stay here again and the owner was very accommodating and super quick to answer any questions.

Awesome Beach weekend!

My mom & I had a girls weekend and loved every minute of it. Our house was nice, clean & convenient. Nice, quiet little neighborhood. OKI is always a fun place to visit & I already can't wait to be back. Hope to stay at the Reef Runner again, SOON!

Easy, Convenient, Comfortable, Family Friendly

We really enjoyed our 4 days and 3 nights at the Reef Runner. Jana was a fast communicator and answered all my questions leading up to our trip. Checking in and arrival was smooth and painless. We were close to the beach and could either walk there or drive and park at the free lot down the street. When we arrived, it felt like we were the first guests in a while and surfaces were a bit dusty, so we did some wiping down before settling in. Otherwise, everything was clean and we had exactly what we needed. The washer/dryer combo was fantastic, and we utilized it nightly. Thanks for accommodating us for the long weekend.
