Very clean and comfortable

The house is very comfortable, plenty of kitchen dishes and pots&pans, so we were able to cook a few nights. We spent most evenings in the screened patio, which was an extra we didn't expect.The hosts even supplied a fan.

Cozy little getaway

This was a very nice little place and very convenient to everything at oak island including the beach. The owners have a place right next door and was super friendly and told me if I had any issues to let him know. We definitely plan on staying here again in the future.

Perfect Getaway

We have always loved Oak Island. The Reef Runner was exactly what we were looking for to take our boat and not break the bank. We were close to the boat ramp and walking distance to the beach. The home had everything we needed. I was thrilled to find a countertop ice maker as I may have a slight addiction to ice lol. The sofa was extremely comfortable. The home was neat and clean. Jana was very responsive and helpful. We are already booked for another trip in July and I am excited to not be packing my ice maker for that trip! :) Thank you, Jana!

Good place to stay!

Comfortable place in quiet neighborhood that is convenient to the beach, shops and restaurants. Beach is less than ten minutes walk. Nicely furnished with comfortable beds. Would recommend. Thanks for the nice stay!

Hidden Gem!

The Reef Runner was very clean! A adorable quiet little beach house. The shade of the trees keep our truck cool. The furniture and beds was very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked. The beds & towels was ready to use. Hidden Gem! Thank you!

Not what expected

The inside was fine for our brief stay , but never in the listing was it stated that this was a mobile home. That did make a difference. It was drafty and had a smell of cat pee when we opened it. Also , the request we bring our own linen and towels was totally not expected either. If this was a beach stay thing might have been alright. We made it work , but not what we expected or felt we paid for. I think it needs to be very clear in the listing that location is great, but it is an older mobile home.

Our stay was one of the best places ever that we have stayed. Our host was super nice and answered any questions I had. The place was really clean and great and we will be coming back. The only thing that sucked is that it rained all Memorial weekend 2023.

Great quiet spot.

We were visiting for a workation (we do landscaping). The space was perfect for what we needed. It is close enough to everything and walking to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and laundry room. It was a pleasure to meet our host. Super sweet people! We will stay again.

Oak Island 2023

Spacious and clean. There is beach gear, which is a nice option. Not too far from the beach. Great location if you are wanting to stay in Oak Island or go to Southport.
