Armathwaite lies in the northern reaches of the Eden Valley, the last stop on the Settle to Carlisle Railway before the line reaches its northern terminus. Like many stations along the line, its buildings are maintained in their traditional style and colours.
Armathwaite Manor dates back to 1829 and is a Grade II listed building, providing welcoming and luxury holiday accommodation, perfect for a relaxing break away. Manor Suite is the ultimate luxury, romantic getaway! The property is open plan throughout, with attention to detail at every turn, from the sumptuous bed with soft pillows, to the large 55" OLED TV. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Cumbrian countryside. Take a leisurely walk down into Armathwaite, or many delightful walks nearby. A must in the area is many walks in the Lake District National Park. Further afield, visit the delights of Hadrianâs Wall or cross the border for a scenic drive into Scotland.
