Very disappointing
We booked this tiny house for a Thanksgiving trip. We did not receive check-in information on time. I had to reach out to the host to get instructions on how to get in after we had already arrived. There was a lot of trash outside in the driveway and my husband found a gun shell inside on the floor. This was not the clean property that we expected. The biggest issue we had with the property was that one of the beds was broken. We constantly rolled to the middle of the bed and any time either of us moved, the bed was incredibly creaky. Neither of us got any sleep on our first night. We decided to find a different place to stay and reached out to the owner asking for a refund for the last 2 nights we had booked, but couldnât stay because of the broken bed. We never heard back from the host, after multiple messages were sent through Vrbo and multiple texts. We reached out to Vrbo, but they were no help. They said they wonât address any issues unless a complaint is filed within 24 hours of check-in, even though we followed their instructions to try to resolve the issue with the host first. We are incredibly disappointed by this whole situation and will not be using Vrbo again. I highly recommend NOT staying at this property.
