The Space:

Nestled away on a quiet, leafy lane just a few minutes walk from the dunes of Croyde Beach, there's really no better location for a seaside escape! In the secluded garden you'll find two luxurious outdoor heated showers, an impressive cooking area with Egg BBQ and huge rotisserie grill, plus a lovely seating area. There's also a grassy garden for kids to play in.

The tall vaulted ceilings and huge sense of space will surprise and delight from the minute you step through the door. The bright and airy open plan kitchen, living and dining space is the real heart of the home. Enjoy nights sprawled out on the sofa with a film on the large smart TV, whilst a contemporary free hanging wood burner roars away in the background. Foodies will love cooking up feasts in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen, and serving is a breeze due to the fully-open planned layout.

On the basement level, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for ultimate comfort. The master double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a toilet and walk in shower. There's also a second double bedroom and a bunk room with a single bed. Both of which share a second bathroom with shower and toilet. In addition, on the ground floor there is an additional family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Complete with private parking for 2 vehicles, this is the perfect base for an unforgettable holiday.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the house and garden.

The Neighborhood:
Nestled away in the dunes behind the stunning Croyde beach, it would be hard to find a better beach-side location. Just a short walk to the water’s edge, you could be in the water surfing some of North Devon’s best waves before you know it.

Croyde is a popular seaside town on the north coast of Cornwall; thanks to its beautiful beaches, good foodie ties and vibrant feel. With plenty of wide-open spaces, the town is a real hotspot for outdoor activities - surfing, cycling, walking, paddle-boarding. Surfing can be enjoyed all year round along the coast, and beginners can enjoy a lesson or two at the Croyde Surf Academy! There are fantastic beaches all close-by too, such as the stunning Saunton Sands and Woolacombe. Avid walkers can pick up the South West Coastal Path from the house. Of all the routes, the impressive headland of Baggy Point where Atlantic waves crash against dramatic cliffs has to be top of your list. You can walk there from Croyde Bay, stopping at Baggy's Cafe if you need to refuel before setting off again.

Although small, Croyde is a pretty village with so much to offer. Sit back with a pint of local ale at one of the many pubs. On Fridays, head to The Thatch for live music and open-mic night. Meanwhile, Blue Groove, Hobb’s Bistro and New Coast Kitchen offer good food options using fresh, local ingredients. Surfboards and wetsuits can be hired from one of the many surf shops and a local skatepark is perfect for those wanting a fun session.

Getting Around:
Due to the remote nature of Devon, we would recommend bringing a vehicle for your stay. There is private parking for two cars.

The pubic transport network in the local area is good, with regular buses running to and from Barnstaple. From here, you can pick up a direct train to Exeter and onto Bristol or London Paddington.

Other Things to Note:
Please note, all 3 bedrooms and 2 of the bathrooms are on the basement level and therefore do no have windows.

The entrance to the property has two long rows of hooks to hang coats and jackets. Whilst clothes hanging space is not available in the bedrooms, a large wardrobe in each double bedroom provides plenty of shelf space to unpack your clothes.

Please note: for security purposes, there are exterior cameras covering the outside areas (front door, south garden, and bin store). These are switched off during guest stays.
