25 Breakwaters on the beautiful Isle of Wight, is an excellent choice to book your next holiday or short break, able to comfortably accommodate up to four guests its nestled just off England’s south coast. The Island is surprisingly easy to reach and only a couple of hours from London, with regular ferries running from Southampton, Portsmouth and Lymington. Leave the car behind should you wish and travel here by rail and catamaran across the Solent, by booking a combined ticket from any Mainland train station to nearby Sandown.

This modern second floor apartment is the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the Island or sunning yourself on the beach, which is situated just in front of the building. Guests have access to a beach hut positioned opposite the apartment, which includes chairs, a wind break, buckets/ spades, rugs and parasols. Internally the apartments open plan living area has gorgeous leather sofas and a Smart TV, where you can sit in comfort and relax and enjoy the sea views from the patio doors or walk out onto the apartments wonderfully positioned balcony, where you can take in the excellent panoramic views, admire the passing ships on the English Channel, and, as the evening draws in, watch the colourful lights begin to glimmer around the curve of the bay. The dining area has seating for up to four people and is situated adjacent to the well-equipped kitchen area, perfect for entertaining and socialising. There are two spacious bedrooms, the master bedroom has a double size bed and its own en-suite shower-room whilst the second bedroom is also set up as a double and served by the family bathroom featuring a double width shower.

LOCATION:

Glorious Sandown Bay is on your doorstep, and voted one of the Island’s best beaches, providing a long stretch of sand and great swimming waters. Along this stretch you can see the red sandstone through to the white chalk of Culver cliff, and it is around here that fossil remains can be found. Sandham Garden’s play area is just across the road from the apartment with go karting sky nets and crazy golf and children’s play area. A short flat walk further along towards Yaverland, and you will also find the Wild Heart Animal Sanctuary formerly the isle of Wight Zoo, famous for its big cats. The town of Sandown is brimming with attractions to entertain visitors, most of them right on the beach front itself, so you never have to stray too far from the golden sands. Should you enjoy a coastal walk, you can walk the length of Sandown Bay from Yaverland past the Pier along the seaside revetment all the way to the popular neighbouring town of Shanklin. If you are keen on an active holiday, the bay is hugely popular with water-sports, and you’ll certainly see people paddle boarding, surfing, catamaran and dingy sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing, depending on the weather.

Allocated parking for 1 car behind the property. In addition, visitor spaces are available, on a first come first served basis.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES / SERVICES:

PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit of £150 will be required before arrival at the property. No money will be taken, unless any damage is reported at the property within 14 days of your departure.

This property can accept a maximum of 1 pet(s). The charge is £35 per pet, per week and we kindly ask that you bring your own bedding for your pet(s). Please ensure that you correctly add your pet(s) when making your booking, so this additional cost is included. If it becomes apparent that you have brought a pet(s) with you but did not advise us, we will contact you to request payment separately.

There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed prior with the owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost. OR

The Island Holiday Company are responsible for the full management of this property and should you need to contact us during your stay we are available between 9-5 Monday to Friday, We also operate an out of hours emergency service on the weekends - please refer to your property brochure left inside the property, for further information and contact details.

No stag or hen parties are permitted at any of our properties.

There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties.

Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.

For security purposes a surveillance camera is in 24-hour operation, monitoring and viewing across the balcony area and view out to sea.

Guests have access to a beach hut opposite the apartment, which includes chairs, a wind break, buckets/ spades, rugs and parasols.

Guests are welcome to use the telescope and binoculars in the apartment.

Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival

Exceptional Apartment!

This was our second year at the apartment, it was every bit as good as the first - standards haven’t slipped at all… it’s spotlessly clean, beautiful decor, very spacious, really comfy beds and pillows, everything you could possibly need is provided and the sea view from the balcony is breathtaking - cannot wait to return again next year Nothing! It’s perfect

Over the moon

The fantastic views very comfortable beds know problem with noise . We found it very hard with the doors being so heavy we are both disabled and I had a mobility scooter which l at to get in and out of the doors and found it very narrow to get in rounds to lifted I at to leave it down by the lifted I don’t think the apartment is suitable for disabled people but love the apartment.

This apartment was absolutely stunning, it was bright and modern, spotlessly clean, the beds and pillows were really comfortable Things we loved: The view from the balcony and the sound of the ocean. It was spotlessly clean. It was bright and modern. Having two bathrooms. The beds were really comfortable. It was dog friendly.Everything we could possibly need was provided. Loved that it had an Alexa. The beach hut Parking bay was provided. The Island Holiday Company staff were SO kind, friendly, attentive and helpful. There wasn’t anything we didn’t love about the property!

New Year’s Eve 2023

Excellent place to stay but building work on the building ruined the trip. From 7:30 in the morning building work kicked off with noise all day . A pump was running all day and night as well as scaffolding banging all night
