Experience the charm of Cornwall with a stay at 8 Duke Street, a characterful cottage nestled in the historic town of Launceston. This charming property offers light and airy rooms, as well as modern conveniences, making it the perfect place to unwind and explore the local area.
Located in the parish of St Stephens, you`ll be surrounded by beautiful historic architecture, including the 13th-century church. Inside, the house boasts a fresh and contemporary-yet-cosy style, with recent updates to ensure your comfort. And for golf lovers, the property is just a 2-minute walk from the Launceston Golf Club!
You`ll find convenient on-street parking and a private gate at the front of the property, providing direct access to the charming rear garden. Step inside to a small hallway, perfect for storing boots and coats.
The ground floor features an open-plan layout, with a beautifully refurbished slate floor spanning the well-equipped kitchen and lounge area. Get cosy in front of the log-burning stove and unwind after a day of exploring. The newly refurbished bathroom, complete with shower and bath facilities, can also be found on this level.
Step out of the back door and onto a wonderful lawn and patio space, complete with a pergola for al fresco dining on warm summer evenings. Cook up a delicious meal on the BBQ provided for guests` use.
Upstairs, you`ll find two spacious and light-filled bedrooms, each with ample storage space. One room features a double bed, while the other can be set up as a king or twin room, depending on your needs.
The property`s location is ideal for exploring both Cornwall and Devon, with the A30 (main road to most locations) just a short 6-minute drive away. While children are welcome, please note that there are no stair gates installed.
Don`t forget to bring your furry friends along for an adventure, as the property allows a maximum of 2 dogs per stay (additional charge of ÂŁ35 per dog applies). Just be sure to get prior approval before booking.
