2014 byggdes ett lyxigt, attraktivt och lantligt fritidshus på ett unikt läge mitt i Groene Hart, i utkanten av Alphen aan den Rijn, med utsikt över den vackra Vrouwgeestmolen och den vackra poldern. Det angivna priset är anpassat till maximalt 4 personer. Om så önskas är utbyggnad till 8 personer möjlig, genom den angränsande lägenheten eller ett extra rum, anslutet med en innerdörr. Priset är annorlunda. Fråga oss om möjligheterna!

Natur, lugn och många möjligheter till rekreation. Att du hittar under din semester i det vackra huset intill kvarnen Kvinna Ande.

Barn är också välkomna! Det finns tillräckligt med utrymme för att njuta av att spela utomhus. Och i området finns det mycket att göra! Som en dagsutflykt till Avifauna fågel park och lekplats, nöjespark Archeon och det finns flera lekplatser och simbassänger i närheten.

Du är en gäst i Hans och Susanne Glada och deras två barn. Hans är en volontärmiller och Susanne är en konstnär.

Naturligtvis är det möjligt att besöka fabriken. Mjölnaren kommer att ge dig en turné och talar om funktion och historia på fabriken.

A Peaceful Place To Relax

We loved the peaceful setting out in the country. It was a great place to unwind. We enjoyed the sheep, swans, and other birds. It was incredible to see a windmill up close out of our windows every day.

A wonderful week

The house was fantastic: comfortable and bright, with windows on three sides. The view of the windmill next door was a bonus!Location is superb - close to Amsterdam, Keukenhof, Leiden and Delft. We made good use of the bikes which are available to hire.Hans was a great host - available and friendly.

Windmill Cottage

We found the cottage very comfortable and quiet. It was in an excellent location for visiting key towns and villages. The children loved the farm animals and outdoor seating areas.

Windmill Cottage

Windmill Cottage was a delightfully appointed place to stay for 4 adults. Our host Hans was most helpful in suggesting places to visit and where to eat and we enjoyed looking around his farm. A most enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it for a delightful experience.

This place was amazing. It was ideal for our family the kids loved it,the windmill cottage has beautiful views of the countryside from every window. The cottage was very clean and has everything available,Modern and comfortable. Hans & he’s wife we’re very helpful they went the extra mile to make our stay very welcoming,will definitely stay here again next year.

Un superbe séjour - wonderfull stay

We have spent a wonderfull time in Hans's cottage. The location is very comfortable and practical with a beautiful view on the countryside. All the great towns ( Gouda, Delft, Amsterdam, la Haye,...) are near (30 to 45 mn by car) so it is very convenient for the visits in the beautiful Holland. Great stay fully recommanded with a great mill to visit !!

Perfect introduction to the Netherlands!

This place was perfect for our first visit to the Netherlands. Hans was a perfect host and even took us inside his home and showed us the inner workings of the windmill at the request of our 12 year old. Loved coming home to this place in the evening, we would love to come stay here again in the future.

Definitely recommend

Very clean, love the location, the bikes were great, great communication. Definitely has the old school Dutch feeling and we loved it. Great to be out of the touristy part of the Netherlands and get a real feel of the real Holland.

Wonderful Stay

We came to see the tulip fields and absolutely loved this VRBO. This location was an easy 20-minute drive to Keukenhof. It was nice and quiet. There was a patio where you could relax and enjoy the views. Hans was very friendly and communicative and even arranged a last-minute tour of the windmill for us. Our kids loved the trampoline and the soccer play area. I highly recommend this location. Thank you Hans for such a wonderful stay.

Amazing, convenient, and relaxing

We loved our stay at the Windmill Cottage! Hans was very helpful and welcoming, the cottage was very clean, big, and had everything we needed. The location is very convenient to other parts of Holland, and it was lovely biking in the area with bikes that we could easily and cheaply rent from Hans. The sunsets were amazing, and it was special to see ducks, swans, rabbits, and other animals in this quiet and beautiful area. If we come back to Holland, we will definitely stay here again.

Truly Dutch Experience

This property provides the quintessential Dutch experience - beautiful cottage on the footsteps of a windmill overlooking the Dutch polders with farmland and animals. It’s in a very central but quiet location, with easy access to all the famous sites in Holland. This is my 27th trip to NL and where I chose to introduce my children to my homeland. It exceeded all expectations.

Swans and Goats and windmills

We loved our stay here after 4 busy days in Amsterdam it was the perfect venue and easily accessible to many destinations. The owner was very helpful and easily reached. The only downside perhaps were the beds which were small and a little too hard. The bedroom upstairs also did not have a bathroom nearby. other that that we had a terrific visit! :)

Our favorite place to stay!

Our 3 night stay at the Windmill Cottage was all that it promised and more. My family trip included my mom (85 years young), my two brothers and me - on a journey throughout the Netherlands. We enjoyed the ability to cook and enjoy meals both inside and outside with ample space to relax the enjoy an early morning or a sublime sunset. Hans, our host, whose rental is appointment with modern amenities, was thoughtful and brought 3 bikes for us to use. Later he kindly gave us a tour of the windmill that has been in his family for generations. I highly recommend this special place - close to the coast, to Amsterdam and Rotterdam or trips to nearly Delft and Gouda and more. We enjoyed the traditional bedstay and loved talking with the sheep. Many thanks to Hans and his family for sharing this exquisitely beautiful spot on the planet.

Idylle pur

Ruhiger entspannter Urlaub

Es war wunderbar und entspannt im Windmill Cottage. Die Natur direkt vor der Tür und den Blick auf die herrliche Mühle. Das Radfahren macht dort sehr viel Spaß. Das Cottage ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es passt einfach alles.
