Externally the property is situated on the edge of the village, overlooking the river Aire, with private parking available for one car only. It is particularly pretty in the spring when the snow drops and cyclamen are flowering. It has a half barrel pond, and a resident frog. One out building that can house two bicycles.

Within the village you are within walking distance from a restaurant, shops, three pubs, fish and chip shop and the stunning countryside. The Pennine Way runs through the village.
