A wonderful place

A great base for a break to see the beautiful sights on Lewis and Harris. Very comfy bed and everything you could need is supplied. A great host. Recommended to all.

A wonderful cosy stay on a beautiful island

It is amazing how Sonja has managed to make a small space so practical but at the same time so cosy and homely. The whole place was immaculate with lots of lovely design touches and the bed was a joy to sleep in. Travelling with just my dog for company I felt safe and secure the whole time I was there. A great place to de-stress. The area was also lovely with a loch to the front and views of the sea behind and the evening walks up to the lighthouse were perfect end to the day for my pooch. With a lovely host and friendly neighbours it has really been a wonderful stay.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful property

Thanks so much Sonja for such a lovely property. And for the special extra touches - fresh milk, eggs, orange juice, bread and butter. And with everything else you could want - proper espresso coffee maker, cooker, microwave, fridge, Alexa speaker with spotify, wifi, great shower. Very warm and cosy (only thing I would say was it was ever so slightly snug for two ahem, slightly older, people - we might be a bit old for being quite so snug!) And thanks too for being so understanding about our wee dog Amy. She had a great time too. :-) G

We are Sonja and Roddy Macleod and we live next door with our two teenage children, Ollie and Charlie. We have two Hygge Hunds, Lottie and Freddie. Very friendly!

This is a unique bothy style cabin in a superb location. Peace, quiet and plenty of Hygge. Cosy and comfortable, with everything you need for a great wee holiday spot.
