Some issues
Unfortunately we had a few issues with the villa.
âą No welcome pack
âą villa sleeps 6, however there were only 5 mugs, 2 wine glasses & a mixture of other glasses. This was fine for just the 2 of us but wouldnât be any use if there were 6 guests
âą no plug or bowl in the kitchen sink. We used the one from the downstairs bathroom, again not a problem with just 2 guests but no so good if there were more than 2 guests
âą no pool/beach towels - management company did kindly drop some off when requested
âą no wash/laundry basket - again management company dropped one off when requested
âą.TV has no British channels available- this should be noted in the description of the villa on Vrbo
âą pictures on Vrbo show a table tennis table, this had been removed
âą 2 of the sunbeds were broken
âą we came back one night to find 3 live cockroaches in the kitchen. Weâve been staying in this area of Faro Park for 13 years & have never experienced cockroaches in any other villas, the floors are normally treated to prevent this. We were supplied with the treatment and were advised the cleaning team obviously hadnât treated the floors prior to our arrival!!
There is also a âworkshopâ & an apartment next to the villa with access to it in front of the kitchen window. There were a couple of days when it was quite noisy with drilling etc from the workshop which didnât really bother us but should be included in the Vrbo description.
This is the first bad review Iâve posted, as all previous villas in this area weâve stayed in are top class.
