Ken och jag erbjuder en privat bergsresa bara 12 minuters bilresa från centrum av Asheville. Vi är också bara 8 minuter från Blue Ridge Parkway med oändliga vandringsleder, utsikt och vattenfall.
Gästerna bor i ett privat område i vårt hem med separat badkar och har tillgång till bakdäck, kök och vardagsrum. Jag tycker också om att laga frukost till mina gäster.

Reflection time

Becky and Ken were such gracious hosts. Sharing their faith, their home, their mountain views and their friends. Helpful hints and suggestions on how to get to places and recommending places to go was definitely a plus. I look forward to being able to revisit again. The space was clean and organized. Privacy was respected at all times. I would recommend to everyone!

A weekend in the mountains

The Perfect House to Experience Asheville

The drive up to the house was absolutely beautiful. We went in the summer and the winding roads were such a joy to my friends and I. At one point we saw a bear on the road! When we arrived the view from the property was unbelievable. Becky was extremely generous and provided us with a comfortable place to stay along with snacks, access to her pool, and all the amenities we would want! I would definitely stay here again.

The Sweetest Weekend

Becky met us from the front porch when we drove up. The directions to the house were clear and easy to follow. The home was beautiful and not like any other place we had ever stayed. It was truly a "Whimsical Mountain Retreat". But the best part of our stay was the amazing hospitality of our hosts. We were made to feel so very welcome. Becky has a servant's heart and made for us the most delicious breakfast. Our room was completely private with our very nice bathroom. The bed was so very comfortable and provided a great night's sleep, especially after a long day of exploring the surrounding area (Chimney Rock and Lake Lure). We would definitely look forward to spending time here again.

Great mountain day! Woot Hoo!

Ken/Becky were the fun people you want to meet everywhere USA, great host and real life neighbors! AND what a great home setup for in/out type folks or just relax on the deck, by the pool or explore the local mountains. My wife is already telling our family about the VRBO experience as our Smokey mountain retreat. The house is very interesting with many structural ideas and rustic feel, such a warm comfortable stay.

Great views, gracious hosts

Beautiful house with a gorgeous view from the balcony. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. This was the first time we stayed at a property where the hosts also lived--it was wonderful. We enjoyed hanging out with them. Just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, yet it feels like you are in your own slice of paradise.

Lovely Inside and Out

Unique setting, house, and decor. Especially gorgeous views in the autumn with vibrant foliage on the mountains. Our hosts were gracious and willing to share conversation and homemade treats with us. The home was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Wonderful place to stay!

Great Host!

I wasn’t able to go to the mountain retreat due to a sudden illness, and had to cancel my visit at the last minute. I was very disappointed. But, due to Becky’s outstanding communication and kindness, I will reschedule my stay without hesitancy. She reads her emails and responds very quickly, so you always feel welcomed, well-informed, and connected. I travel often for work and don’t like surprises! Directions were sent the day before my planned arrival. After doing extensive research I feel this a very safe, secure, and beautiful place in a nice location and has a rate that is more than fair.

Relaxing Retreat

This was an extremely relaxing stay. The hosts were gracious and kind and made our visit in their home awesome. The location is about 15 minutes from the Biltmore Estate and Downtown Asheville making it just the right distance to be close to everything but far enough away that you can experience the calmness of the mountains. If we find ourselves in the area again we would definitely stay again!
