Boasting sea views and located opposite, with just a few steps from the excellent sandy beach. Being all on one level makes it an excellent choice.. All on the Ground Floor:

Separate Toilet.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Enclosed rear garden with sitting out area and garden furniture. Sea fishing on-site. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Access is via an unmade road.. Overlooking and positioned directly opposite the wonderful sandy beach, just a few steps and you will have arrived at the beach. A fantastic holiday property for a great seaside holiday. This detached holiday bungalow will delight from the moment you arrive. Comfortably furnished to offer sociable open plan accommodation with commanding sea views. You have miles of walking to enjoy direct from doorstep, so be sure to pack your walking boots. Boasting an enclosed garden, making it an ideal place to return too after a day of fun, where you can grab a seat and enjoy the last of the evening sunshine.

Scratby itself is a well-served village with a mini market and post office, antiques centre, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also in a great location for exploring the delights of Norfolk. The nearby chalet parks apply day rates (chargeable by the park) and guests are welcomed to enjoy swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor available, crazy golf course, go-karting track, adventure playground and the club-house facilities.

Take a trip to visit the Golden Mile at Great Yarmouth and experience a host of traditional seaside attractions including the Pleasure Beach. Thrill seekers are also sure to enjoy a day out at Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park at Lowestoft. For a change of pace, visit Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens and take the tiger walk across the treetops (if you dare!). Nearby Caister Castle features a classic car museum or a day at the races, both horse and dog racing available locally. BeWILDerwood at Horning, Sea Life centre at Great Yarmouth and a host of great places to eat and drink within the surrounding area.

You are also close to the Norfolk Broads national park where you can drift along these famous waterways by either chartering your own day launch or joining an organised tour. This wonderful location means you really are close to all the action, including the city of Norwich, recently voted one of the top five cities to visit in the UK with its Norman castle and numerous museums, galleries, and theatres. Those who enjoy cycling and walking will discover that there are lots of great routes close by to enjoy as well. Beach 10 yards. Shop, pub, and restaurants 0.7 miles.

With this cottage you are paying for the view, just can't fault the location to be able to open the

With this cottage you are paying for the view, just can't fault the location to be able to open the blinds in the morning and see the view out to sea. Even better was to get up at 5:30 and see the incredible sunrise.The only fault was the track leading to the cottage which was absolutely horrendous. Talking to some residents I know that there is not much that can be done to rectify it but this would put me off going back.The bakery was only 100 yards away which did lovely fresh bread and cakes and was ideal for a breakfast bacon batch.and coffee.The carpet in the main bedroom could do with a good clean or even changed as it is badly stained and a couple of pint glasses would be good.The rest of the property was immaculate and having sky TV was also a bonus.Many thanks for our sunny week in this property.

Lovely property

Property was lovely and we had nice weather…. Just make sure you don’t have to change anything as cottages.com the most unfriendly and non flexible company to try and deal with if less than 7 weeks before you go you have no chance of any help or assistance from them. Property and location great just don’t have a lowered vehicle or will struggle in the lane

The view was breathaking but the property lack style not enough socketsonly won mirror twin room the door would not shutmishmash of furniture the fire stovewas broken reco

So relaxing

An unusual and beautiful location. We felt lucky to be there. Very peaceful and gorgeous views. There is an unmade road to access and we needed to drive very slowly as we did scrape the bottom the car once or twice from large pot holes. But going very slowly helped. However, once there it is a lovely relaxing location. It is modern and clean with all the general amenities you would need. We were super comfortable there. If you need a dishwasher there isnt one but we were not too bothered about that. Lovely walks along the front. Very good for dogs. Good base to explore Norfolk from. We would certainly go again.
