VILLA MIGNALE -AMALFI COAST
When we arrived (one day earlier than planned) three happy and welcoming girls were waiting for us in the rain. The apartment really exceeded our expectations. We are a family of 5 persons and our daughters 20 and 23 years chose one of the double rooms, me and my husband the other double room and there was a perfect room for our 13 years old son. The apartment really was spacious,open and luxury. When I stepped into the kitchen, I was greeted by the fantastic, breathtaking views of the sea.We did not go out to a restaurant to eat instead we cooked our meals in the kitchen and enjoyed the beautiful view sitting outdoors on the balcony. The kitchen was well equipped so it made it easy to prepare the meals.
Furore has a good location on the Amalfi and its easy to visit the nearby towns. We had our own car and drove to the vulcano Vesuvius and climbed up to the top. We also visited Pompeii and the nearby towns Positano, Praino and Amalfi.
I really recommend you to walk Gods Path "Sentiero degli dei" You cant miss i t once you are here. I just say wonderful, fantastic and breathtaking!! The whole family enjoyed it.
All of us were satisfied with the stay. It was so nice to sit a while at the different places of the garden and enjoy all the beautiful flowers and the lemon trees.
The hosts Maria and her daughter was really service minded, helpful and generous. (We got a bottle of lemon liquer and a bottle of wine as a gift).
I warmly recommend this apartment to all kinds of families - from couples to families with children of all ages.
There is only one disadvantage / drawback the distance to a beach. It is hard to find beaches on the Amalfi coast. We went for swimming in Positano and Amalfi. It seems to be a short distance but the steep rock walls with the hair pin roads make it longer than it looks.
