Great little apartment
The property was easy to find and access. We found shops close by and it is very close to the main routes to the Ironbridge attractions and other to towns. Although on a main road, our apartment was at the back of the building and was very quiet.
The apartment is light and airy, the lounge area and bedrooms comfortable. But, could do with some USB plug points.
The on-suite bedrooms are set one each side of the living area, so you don’t disturb each other if you are up in thenight.
The Kitchen is well appointed and well laid out. But, we found the hob had a chip and crack in it affecting one cooking ring.
Overall the apartment was very clean. But, during our stay the smaller shower room started to smell of ‘bad drains’.
We found that there was poor telephone reception in the apartment, so could not contact the owner and settled on leaving a written message about this on our departure.
The owner has been in contact with us. Being very apologetic, confirming that the offending shower tray and drain have been removed and refitted. But, was stingy on the compensation paid.
This is a good place to stay for a few nights if you are visiting the area.
