Lovely location set in its own secluded grounds with private 4.75 acre lake in rural France. Ideal for groups and families looking for rest and relaxation with modern facilities. Perfect for fishing, stargazing, artists, yoga, cyclists, wildlife, touring the area and much more. Le nombril du monde 5 minutes. Parthenay 20 minutes. Puy du Fu or Futuroscope only an hour away, or visit the coast with the fabulous La Rochelle and surrounding beaches or one of the many parks in the area. Dedicated cycle route nearby. The property looks out onto the large lake

I have been retired from public service since 2020 and spent the last two years preparing the property for the rental market, having completed building this new bungalow in 2018 on the site of an old weekend cabin it is now ready for others to enjoy. Being a keen fisherman, It has always been a dream of mine to have a property with a lake.

As soon as I saw the location, I knew after many years of searching that I had found the right location to fulfil my dreams. I now want to share that enjoyment with others.
Vad som gör detta boende unikt
When you walk through the gates to your own private lake and grounds, the hussle and bustle of daily life disappears. You can spend your days chilling on the patio or partake in a spot of fishing on the main lake. If new to fishing why not try one of the two starter ponds with smaller fish, ideal for children or pole fishing. Alternatively you can explore the many tourist attractions and quaint towns that can be found in the area. Puy de Fou and Futuroscope , two main attractions in France are approximately one hour away or venture to the stunning coast near La Rochelle with its pretty Harbour and beaches nearby.
