A delightful little cottage set in a quiet village in the heart of the Highlands perfect for exploring the glorious countryside.. All on the Ground Floor:
Living room: Freeview TV
Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack.. Decking with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Church Court Cottage is a charming little semi-detached cottage in a peaceful location, in the quiet village of Halkirk. With the stunning northern coastline only a short drive away Church Court Cottage offers the perfect place to come back to after a day exploring. Church Court Cottage boasts a cosy sitting room, two bedrooms and a modern fully equipped kitchen perfect if you want to enjoy a home cooked meal after your dayâs adventures.
Halkirk is a small village in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland and has a good selection of amenities including an excellent pub serving meals and a local store. Whether you are staying at Church Court Cottage just to relax or perhaps for an adventure, the area has everything. With its miles of coastline, perhaps enjoy a spot of kite surfing on the many spectacular unspoilt beaches or take a trip along part of the famous North Coast 500, perhaps stopping off at John Oâ Groats, the most northerly point on Scotlandâs mainland.
Fishing is outstanding in the far north of Scotland. Some of the most productive salmon rivers in the country are tucked away across Sutherland and Caithness hiking and cycling (road and mountain biking) are popular pastimes here with many routes to try. Return to Church Court Cottage and unwind with a glass of your favourite tipple on the decking where you might be lucky enough to see the northern lights in the clear dark skies. Beach 7 miles. Pub and restaurant Πmile.
