This cozy cottage reminded me of a surf shack…all the essentials, no muss no fuss! Perfect for solo travelers as well as a couple. Nice deck out front, indoor and outdoor showers. Parking was easy and check in was smooth. Far enough into the village that traffic noise was nonexistent but walking distance to everything. 10/10

The property was great, it was the perfect size for 2 people! Highly recommend renting your golf cart straight through Russ, he is the nicest guy and it was really convenient since he had it ready to go when we got there!! His golf carts are also really well maintained!

This was a great location, clean space and a great spot for pets. Everything was wonderful! The private yard was nice and not something you always get with rentals in ocracoke! Can’t wait to stay here again.

We had a miserable stay. We rent cabins in West Virginia, and we support much more aggressive standards. First, the single fire alarm was broken. Second, they're bedbugs, and cockroaches almost as long as my index finger! Third, the sliding doors have no rail at the bottom and no way to stop the door from sliding off the rails. In addition, the place had dog hair under and around the sofa; it's cleaner now! Also, the overall design could be better; there's room for a small range rather than a hot plate that your given to cook, for example. In addition, it's impossible to sleep; in addition to the bedbugs and cockroaches, the air conditioner in the bedroom is loud. Talk about design...the bed frame is positioned to provide an obstacle for a six foot man to smash his knee on the bottom next to the bathroom, and the door is difficult to open without tearing your hand on the non-handle. The porch as nice, though not private, but it was a place to escape. More chairs would be good. I know the details mentioned the lack sheets and towels, but that's truly a pain. We would never stay here or, for that matter, any Vrbo property.

Thought the property was a little overpriced for the amenities and size. Had an issue with wi- fi but owner was very reasonable in giving a partial refund. Rented mainly for location. Property was in walking distance of most restaurants

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was cute and just what we needed! The host gave great detail and we had no problems while staying! We will definitely be back!

Thank you so much for hosting our visit in Ocracoke, we really enjoyed it! The only thing I could add would be that I feel like a non slip rug should be placed outside the door of the bathroom. The floor is very slick and I fell upon crossing the doorway of the restroom. Other than that, we had a very nice time, thanks again!!

This little house was perfect for what we needed. Great location and easy check-in and check-out. The gated porch was a highlight and allowed us to enjoy the mornings out there with our dog and a cup of coffee.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. It had everything we needed for our stay…..nice kitchenette, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower, cozy sitting area, and nice tvs. So nicely decorated and in walking distance to everything in Ocracoke village. Has a spacious porch and is pet friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
