Croatians will always tell you that the islands are the crown of our coast and our country. Brač takes a very special place amongst them, so even though the coastline and the city of Split are quite close by, we will advise you to stay on the island and discover all of the magical places it has to offer. Starting from the most famous beach in Croatia, The Golden Horn in the village Bol, you can find many smaller, hidden beaches all around Brač if privacy is your thing. If you prefer gastronomy tours; excellent restaurants and local olive plantations will make you very happy, and for all of you cultural heritage lovers we highly recommend the Sculptor’s academy in Pučišća, close to the Brač stone quarry. In case you’re not familiar with this fact, this stone was used to build parts of St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican and many other spectacular monuments around Croatia and Europe.
