A little disappointed from a comfort perspective
We really enjoyed our stay at Hareâs View. The accommodation is advertised as sleeping six, but during our visit (with only two of us) it didnât feel fully equipped to comfortably cater for that number.
A few things we noticed:
- There was no dishwasher or washing machine.
- No dining table, only four stools at the breakfast bar, and a rather uncomfortable wooden bench with thin cushions in the lounge.
- No hanging space or drawers in the bedrooms for clothes, or in the communal areas for coats.
- Some of the kitchen sockets werenât working.
- The fridge/freezer wasnât large enough to store much food, so we found ourselves shopping daily. With no larder space for dry goods, we had to use the kitchen surfaces, which reduced food preparation space.
On the positive side, the location and views were fabulous, and it was very well placed for day trips. The hot tub was a lovely addition, although we did notice some black floating bits in the water during use.
