Vi är nya ägare! Vår miljövänliga New York-designer dekorerade två våningar duplex lägenhet ligger på en halv mil vit sandstrand med utsikt över det kristallklara turkosa vattnet i Karibiska havet. Njut av en fantastisk utsikt från båda privata balkongerna medan du har utsikt över Karibiska öarna St. John och Tortola, Brittiska Jungfruöarna på horisonten.

För dig som gillar matlagning finns det ett helt nytt, fullt utrustat kök med nya moderna skåp, konstruerad stenbänkskiva och designer backsplash. Köket har helt nya rostfria vitvaror, kylskåp i full storlek med frys och vattenf��rdelare, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, elektrisk kokplatta, brödrost, mixer, kaffebryggare och flera andra moderna apparater. Vardagsrum på nedre våningen är helt ombyggda och målade, med en ny matsal, vardagsrummet har mycket bekväma Pottery Barn Queen Bäddsoffa. Njut av kvällens nyheter, titta på gratis BluRay DVD eller strömma Netflix-filmer på vår nya Smart TV. Till frukost, lunch eller stranddrycker finns det till och med en bar / grill på fastigheten som serverar tropiska förfriskningar samt hamburgare, korv och speciella karibiska drycker. Ny grilltid "Of the Grid" -grillen öppnade precis vid ingången till fastigheten Sapphire Beach med de bästa rostade specialiteterna för griskött. En annan bra restaurang / bar är på det angränsande "gröna taket" lägenhetsort, en kort 5-minuters promenad över marinan.

Orten själv ligger på en av världens vackraste karibiska stränder - den vackra Sapphire Beach, skuggad med palmer, och majestätisk i sitt vackra juveltonade vatten från akvamarinvatten nära stranden till djupt safirblått i fjärran. Det finns två stränder på fastigheten - en halv mil vit sandstrand och korallstrand. Om du gillar snorkling, har du chansen att inte bara se karibiska korallfiskar, utan också se sköldpaddor och stickstråle. Allt detta direkt från vår strand! Excellent Experience

The property was clean, comfortable and owners were extremely accommodating. Owners were extremely helpful by imparting so much resource information as to restaurants, happenings on the island, rental cars and other tidbits of informative information which helped a lot in our vacation stay. Beautiful location!

We travelled with our 3 kids (ages 14, 12, and 7) and had a great time! Beautiful views of the ocean from the balcony and steps from the beach. Communication with the host was great - she was very responsive to our questions and gave helpful tips and suggestions. Apartment was as described and depicted in pictures. Well stocked with the dishes, utensils, etc. Only issue we had was difficulty with operating washer/dryer (perhaps adding a sheet with specific instructions for how to run it might be helpful). Overall, fantastic trip and we highly recommend staying here - if we ever return we'd stay here again!

Anniversary trip

We stayed in D303. Bianca was easy to communucate with by email and text prior for questions and first day to enter. Rooms were basically clean. Couch on 1st floor was very low and dining chairs were lucite, not as pictured. Lots of dishes and mismatched glassware, adequate utensils. Frying pans were worn, other pots okay. Nice to have a dishwasher and microwave. Bathrooms very nice tile work but not alot of hot water so very quick showers. We only used one of the showers in the bedroom and didn't use the washer dryer. There were plenty of towels and a cooler was provided. Balcony furniture was good. We enjoyed eating and relaxing outside. Pool, beach and property restaurants were very good. We enjoyed our stay.

Sapphire Beach Beachfront Condo

A standard 2-level unit with master bedroom upstairs with a lofted ceiling. Unit was very clean upon arrival. New renovations in the kitchen and new countertops. Please note this unit does not have a stove for baking/broiling etc. But does have a large microwave and excellent toaster. Living room off kitchen has a couch that unfolds into a bed. We never used it as a bed. A small table on the side for meals if desired, but we ate every meal on the deck, which overlooks the pool and harbor cove that offer breathtaking views. There is some snorkel equipment and some floating noodles etc. The unit also has 4 beach towels. A small bath is downstairs with a walk-in shower. There is also a washer/dryer combo, but the dryer is a 'ventless' dryer and takes forever. Upstairs is a large space with full queen bed with memory foam mattress. Full sized dresser and another couch that unfolds to a bed. There is a decent size closet to hang clothes. The master bath is recently renovated with a glass walled, walk-in shower. Water pressure was okay and we always had hot water. There is a wall mounted TV upstairs that has basic cable. Interestingly, the downstairs TV is much larger ,but no cable? You can use any web-based streaming service thought if desired.I won't go into the other amenities onsite, but IMO, this location on the East End is the best of any. I highly recommend you rent a car so you can drive the 1 mile to Red Hook where all the shops and restaurants are located.

Just What We Needed

Everything was just as described in the listing. This is a 2-story unit on the 2nd floor so yes right on the beach but not beach level. 2 lovely patios with ample space and gorgeous views. Large upstairs room with a huge king bed. Everything was clean and as expected in the unit. The larger Sapphire property had some good amenities like a large, family friendly pool overlooking the water. Many areas were either being renovated or in need of repair but nothing that interrupted our stay. There is a beach grill, bar and coffee shop on the property. All were fine for beachside quick bites. This is not a “resort” property so do not expect hotel-like amenities. The location was perfect for us. About 20-25 minutes from the airport, less than 10 into Red Hook and also Coki Beach or Meghan’s Bay. We would stay here again.

Probably the best location on the island.

It’s always hard to really know if you’re getting a great property based on an ad and some pictures. This unit is very well maintained and updated. Everything was as advertised. Sapphire beach is beautiful and well groomed. Plenty of beach chairs available. The water was all shades of blue and turquoise. The beach bar is close and serves basic food like fish tacos and burgers. This is the east side of the island so it’s close to Red Hook with a large selection of bars, restaurants and shops but without congestion of the big town. Taxis were always available to take you anywhere on the island so no need for a rental car. Red Hook is also the ferry terminal to get to St John’s. We spent the entire week without leaving the east side since everything was so close. We did it all: fishing, snorkeling, parasailing, jetskiing and visited St John. Bianca texted after we checked in to be sure everything was good. So the owner is totally invested in your experience. We will return

It was JUST ok

The good: Location! Steps from the beach (sapphire bay)and very close proximity to Red Hook and Ferry. The king bed upstairs was very comfortable and the views from both balconies were BEAUTIFUL! The Not so good: Very outdated unit. Had a muggy smell to it. The kitchen def needs everything updated, from appliances to pots and pans. The sofa bed upstairs MUST be replaced. We rented for 7 nights and my poor kids both had neck and back aches from sleeping on it. It has a huge dip on one end of the mattress that is blatant I cannot believe they’ve not replaced way before now. The wifi is VERY spotty! Most evenings only one of us could be on the wifi at a time and some nights none of us could get connection at all. The islands are beautiful and we were in the villa mostly in the evenings. But for the price we expected better, not 5 star but at the minimum a comfortable place to sleep.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

THERE IS NO HOT WATER IN THIS PLACE. ZERO. And on day 2, NO WATER AT ALL CAME OUT OF THE SHOWER. NONE! NO AC IN THE FAMILY ROOM, only a fan on the kitchen counter pointed at the family room. Stains on the sheets. 1980's nasty beach towels. Furniture falling part (with faces of drawers off laying next to the cabinet). The owner has done NOTHING about it nor has VRBO. First day I was the 3rd person to shower- had very low water pressure that was very cold. Second day I was 1st person to shower- no water at all out of the master shower and only ice cold water from the downstairs shower. Texted owner- said she would have it fixed but no one ever came during our stay. ICE COLD showers EVERY day of our stay. She apologize on our day of check out that no one fixed it and said she wanted to "make it right" and here I sit, 20+ days since our stay and she is not responding to any texts and has not given us any credit at all for our stay (I only asked for one nights stay as a credit; I didn't ask for all my money back). The master bedroom comforter had red stains on it (YUCK!). Master shower window had basically no curtains to cover the windows. The washer/dryer didn't work. The fridge wasn't very cold. Good location but horrible unit and horrible owner. She lied about so many things when I tried to get VRBO involved. Im a reasonable person who never writes reviews of places I stay. Im a lawyer used to compromise. But this owner and unit are horrible. HORR-I-BLE!

Amazing views

Great location, condo is directly on the beach, two nice balconies looking directly to the pool area and beach. Property has onsite bar, restaurants, coffee/ice cream shop. We had a great time, will definitely stay there again. Bianca was extremely nice and very informative. She stayed in communication before, during, and after our stay to ensure we were being taken care of! Couldn’t ask for better communication!

Great location for couple or small family

Great location at Sapphire Beach resort, short drive to Red Hook restaurants. Very close to car/passenger ferry also. Building D is closest to the pool, which was nice. Far enough from the public Sapphire beach area to get away from crowds, but a short walk down the beach to the clear swimming area and beach chairs. (We didn’t really see anything exciting snorkeling off-shore). On-site restaurant was not bad for a handy place to grab some food. The downstairs pull out sofa was not the most comfortable (bar in your back), but unopened was ok for one person to sleep on. We didn’t sleep on the upstairs pull out sofa, but that would have been a lot of people sleeping in the master bedroom, as we already slept 3 in the king bed. We had everything that we needed for the week, as we’re not high maintenance. Cute, cozy place to stay.

Great time!

Great place to stay with kids. Providing snorkel gear & towels to guests was a nice touch since snorkeling is what the Island is known for. I just wish they offered a complimentary shuttle bus for guests to go to & from the ferries which is @5min away as it costs me a lot for 6 people & we did that 4 times. The breakfast & lunch & bar was a fun place to go to alongside the beach. The kids also enjoyed making sand souvenirs on the beach. Definitely planning to go back! My host was very helpful & professional & answered all my questions.

Great location right on Sapphire Beach. Beautifully decorated, everything you need.

Everything you could possibly want in a vacation rental, beautifully decorated, clean, all the linens and kitchen necessities you need to cook if you want to. Very close to everything, Red Hook with lots of restaurants and nightspots is only a two minute drive, Sapphire Beach Grille right on the beach. Check out VI Slice at Sapphire Village, less than a five minute walk away. The marina is two or three minutes from you where you can charter fishing boats and boats to tour the islands. Highly recommended!

Everything was great.

Everything was great. The rooms were nice and clean and the beach was amazing. The children loved the pool and the ocean. The water at the beach was easy for them to swim in and they loved to snorkel around looking at the fish. It's close to Redhook and the ferry to St. John's. The rooms were well supplied and you had access to everything you needed. The owners were polite and easy to deal with. There were no surprises. There were six of us and it was adequate for space. It did require quite a bit of togetherness at night, but it was a reasonable. The two bathrooms were wonderful. We would go back, the beach which is iterally feet from the building, was worth the price alone. There are some areas, such as the parking lot and the pool building that needed some updating. It's was obvious that they were being addressed and didn't take away from the experience. Altogether as close to perfect as you can get, rooms were accurately described and represented, the beach area exceeded my hopes.

Bianca and Paul have been visiting the Virgin Islands for years and decided to spend some time on St. Thomas and happened upon Sapphire Beach and simply fell in love with the property. It is clearly the best beach front property we have seen in our years of traveling around the world!

If you like a room with a fantastic sea view, modern and luxury, you won't be disappointed. This is by far the best vacation we ever had in 2008, so after few years we were back and purchased this condo with the most beautiful views in Virgin Islands that is right on the beach. Every time we come back, we just could not believe we were so lucky.
