På Marmaduke House i Baths centrum kan du tacka alla människor hela tiden. Detta snygga viktorianska hus är perfekt för en stor samling av familj eller vänner, eftersom det har 5 sovrum och 5 badrum, med en TV i varje rum, gott om utrymme och förvaring och en stor parkeringsplats för upp till 3 bilar. Allt som Bath har att erbjuda är inom några minuters promenad, det kunde inte bli enklare.

Med utsikt över en vackert planterad trädgård har vardagsrummet en stor L-formad lädersoffa och en ytterligare dubbel soffa av en stor viktoriansk dekorativ eldstad. Det finns en stor TV med en DVD och CD-spelare med I-pod dockning.

Matsalen sitter 10 och ser över en planterad innergård. Bredvid är köket som är välfyllt med porslin och glas. Det finns en elektrisk spis och en dubbel ugn, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin och stort kylskåp och separat frys. Längs korridoren finns ett annat stort kylskåp och separat frys, separat garderob med toalett och handfat och ett verktyg med kombinerad tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Utanför finns en planterad innergård med två små gjutj��rn och 8 stolar.

På första våningen finns ett dubbelrum med en djup fönsterfack. Den har en king size-säng (5 ft), TV och en liten badrum med badkar (med dusch över), handfat och toalett. Det finns ett terracotta twin rum med en TV och en rymlig badrum med badkar (med dusch över), handfat och toalett. Slutligen på denna våning finns ett blått kontrollerat dubbelrum med TV och över korridoren är ett badrum med litet badkar (med elektrisk dusch över), handfat och toalett.

På andra våningen finns ett grönt dubbelrum med dubbelsäng (4'6 "), TV och ett badrum under takfoten. Detta har ett badkar (med dusch över), en handfat och en toalett. Slutligen finns det ett marinblå dubbelrum med en dubbelsäng (4'6 "), TV och ett badrum med badkar (med dusch över), handfat och toalett.

Det finns utrustad parkeringsplats för upp till 3 bilar på baksidan av fastigheten och Charlotte street parkeringsplats granne för ytterligare bilar. Alternativt är Bath Spa tåg eller busstationer bara 15 minuters promenad bort.

Lovely house

Really lovely property, only slight complaint lots of mould on the window in the double bedroom on the first floor, and the internet was dreadful, otherwise we had an amazing stay , brilliant house for us all and great location.

Wonderful location

The home was well equipped with everything we needed. It’s in a wonderful location to see everything in bath. Very walkable city from this location. I would absolutely stay again. We had a group of 7 and had more than enough room. Easily could’ve slept 3 more in beds. Loads of restrooms and showers, which was wonderful!

Loads of space good location

We really enjoyed our few days here. There is room for multiple families so we were able to give everyone a bedroom and a bathroom of their own. Pubs, restaurants, sainsburys and all the tourist stuff is very easy to walk to so you could use this place without a car.

Great location for a city visit

We had a lovely stay at Marmaduke House. The property was very clean with plenty of space and rooms for a very comfortable stay. There was a lovely welcome pack for us which had thoughtfully been left in the fridge. The location is very central so walking into the centre of Bath was easy and quick. Would have been helpful if the property had a few more kitchen bits such as clingfilm, foil & dishwasher tablets. Overall totally recommend this a great place for a group of friends or family to stay.

The location is wonderful. The house is well stocked. We had trouble with the heat. The instructions were for a different thermostat and we were cold. The instructions called for us to turn off all the radiators, we would have needed to move furniture and beds to do that. I think better instructions would have helped.

Great location

House was as described, great location, once the cars were parked we didn’t need to use them at all! Property as described - some areas are showing a bit of wear & tear but didn’t affect the comfort or quality of our stay.

Large house to accommodate large family in a great location on Bath

Nice large house to accommodate our family of 10 with nearly everything we needed. Great location in central Bath that was within walking distance of most attractions. Clothes washer and drier worked great for those needing them. The clean up prior to our arrival could have been a bit better and it would have been nice to have been provided a dish washing sponge and some paper towels in the kitchen. However, the kitchen had everything else we needed for food prep and storage in 2 refrigerators. Bedrooms were well appointed with en-suite bathrooms in all but one of the 5 bedrooms. One problem with check in was the key provided in the key safe did not work (broken key) which required us to wait for staff to arrive and let us in. Could have been easily avoided if key had actually been checked in the door to ensure it worked.

Excellently located property with a bathroom for each bedroom which is absolute boon! Well equipped with more than enough crockery cutlery etc which again you don’t see often. Also towels provided.

3 storey town house

A few minor points very noisy road made worse because heating was on and we couldn't turn it down so windows were open all the time (instructions to increase heat but not turn it down). Also middle floor bedrooms sometimes didn't have hot water for shower or bath.

Fantastic House / Location / Very Comfortable

Very comfortable stay. Excellent location. Having 3 car park spaces was an added bonus along with 4 of the double rooms with en-suite - this house is a home from home - I would highly recommend it. Peter was excellent at communicating and ensuring that we had everything we needed to know. 10/10 thank you.

Excellent location

We walked into a clean, well presented and well stocked property - home from home with a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and wine, so no need for immediate shopping . Two of our party took a bus from the railway station but walked back easily having found our way round during our stay. The rest of us drove following the directions given, plenty of parking at the rear. Delightful space to sit and eat and relax outside - the good weather was a bonus! As was 5 bathrooms and an additional toilet downstairs. Easy walk to the Roman Baths and other attractions plus plenty of eating places within a 5 minute walk. The Scallop Shell fish and chip restaurant is a 2 minute walk away and serves simple fresh fish, immaculately cooked with excellent wines. Don’t mistake it for a normal fish and chip shop! We were a party of 6 ladies, in our seventies, meeting for our annual get together and all agreed that it was one of our best venues.

Well presented and very convenient for the city. Rooms all well appointed and facilities were very complete. Traffic noise was disturbing for some of the group as weather hot and bedroom windows open made it noisy,

Period Charm with Great Facilities

A great property with tons of space and great facilities for a few days break in beautiful Bath . Just 5-10 minutes walk from the centre this location is perfect for small groups or even larger ones if restrictions allow (we were a family of 4 adults). Clean and with all the facilities you could need we did not use the car once in the five days we were there. Excellent.
