Great Yarmouth has a 15-mile stretch of glorious sandy beach with a pier, entertainment, marina sports centre with indoor swimming pool and many other leisure activities. There is the Sea Life Centre, bowling, amusements, donkey rides, bouncy castles, wax world, model village, fun fair for small children and adrenaline rides, crazy golf, water park, restaurants, cafés, and pubs. Also nearby is the world-class Hippodrome Circus with shows all year round. Deck chairs are available for hire and boat trips are available to visit the seals at Scoby Sands. Central Beach hosts a fireworks display each Wednesday (weather permitting) during the summer season. With many activities available all year round, please note some activities have seasonal openings. Quayside is home to the Time and Tide Museum and Nelson’s Museum.
