Stunning house and pool - what's not to like?

We stayed at Les Bananiers last summer and were delighted to return. What a special home from home in a great location to explore the Cote d'Azur. The attention to detail and thought that Claire and Dominic put into our stay was really appreciated, particularly the homemade apricot jam and olive oil! The house, in its own olive grove has character and charm yet has all the modern facilities we needed; a well-appointed kitchen and good coffee machine, air conditioning and really comfortable, spacious bedrooms. I loved all the traditional features and tasteful interior. The swimming pool is a great size and we spent many hours relaxing and eating in the pool house which had a fire and bar area with a duplicate kitchen including plates, glasses and a dishwasher! The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming, giving us a guide of the local area and restaurants. We had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend it!

Heaven on earth!

We had a family gathering of ten who came from far and wide. The house and outside area provided us with a gorgeous ambience — lots of space to eat, drink, visit and relax. Everything about the property is tasteful and well thought out. Our group played ping pong, darts and boule; spent lots of time in the large pool and elegant pool lounge chairs. And the house is conveniently located to take day trips. We had lunch in Antibes, dinner in Cap Ferrat, a cruise from Cannes - among other excursions. The host provides a booklet with invaluable information on where to go in the area. We all wished we could have stayed longer…

Perfect Vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at Claire and Dominic's beautiful home. The pictures on the vrbo website are gorgeous but in person, the house, pool and property are even more beautiful. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The separate pool house kitchen and outdoor dining area is similarly well equipped and magical. We enjoyed swimming, playing cards, pingpong and boules on the separate boules court. Making pizza in the outdoor pizza oven was a favorite evening. The house is perfectly situated just outside of Grasse, easy access to train station should you choose not to drive to some of the busier coastal towns/cities. It is also an easy drive to the coast, Antibes, Cannes, Eze as well as interior towns such as Valbonne, Mougin etc. The only suggestions for the the house would be a couple of deck/storage boxes for the variety of cushions at the many seating areas that should be put away if rain is expected. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Above all we are a family and this home provides all the entertainment that a family could want. We have returned to France after a previous 11 year chapter which was followed by a few years back in the UK.
Dominic works in the construction industry as client representative and is complimented by Claire who specialises in procurement for overseas clients.
Our 3 adult children all call this their 'Happy Place'.

We are very excited to share our home with you. 2023 is our first season of renting this home, although we have rented out other properties in France for 10+ years. This is our family home. Having lived in many, many properties in several countries - this is without doubt the nicest place we have lived.
All local shops and amenities are just 5 minutes away, Cannes is a 20 minute drive or is accessible from Grasse train station.
