These superb brand new lodges provide the ultimate peaceful retreat for couples and families, with modern and stylish decor you’ll be sure to enjoy a comfortable stay! Sleeping up to 4 guests with one double and one twin bedroom. The open-plan living area is fresh, airy and contemporary in design with a beautiful seating area and large flatscreen smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen has all the amenities and utilities required to create a wonderful meal for your partner or family and friends, and with the dining table directly in the kitchen area you’ll be able to entertain throughout. The bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and basin. The lodge has been designed with peace and comfort in mind and this also is true outside with your very own private decked and grassed area with garden furniture and let’s not forget the star attraction, the outdoor bath!

With two natural lakes at the heart of this tranquil parkland you’ll feel relaxed and have a great base to explore all of the qualities that Norfolk has to offer. The location is beautifully landscaped and also has a quirky café and seating area that overlooks one of the natural lakes, as well as a children’s outdoor play area that allows you to enjoy a coffee and a cake whilst the kids play. During open season for campers they host a number of family-friendly events and also have a number of foodie nights including stone-baked pizza on Tuesday evenings, a Friday night in-house grill, Saturday street food with independent vendors, weekend breakfasts and Sunday roast delights!

There was no towel rail in the bathroom to hang hand or bath towels which was a bit weird.

There was no towel rail in the bathroom to hang hand or bath towels which was a bit weird. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space etc. The kitchen was ok, Iâ€™m glad I took foil because I wouldnâ€™t have put my food on any of the oven trays, they had been cleaned but really needed to be replaced. In need of a decent chopping board and for a small price, a dishwasher would have helped make it the â€˜luxuryâ€™ lodge it was described as, there was plenty of space to add one. A vacuum and a mop would have helped keep the lodge clean and tidy. The outdoor space was nice but the chairs rather uncomfortable, just a few cushions would have made all the difference. The sofa was very low which made it a little uncomfortable but it was ok. So to summarise, this was a lovely lodge in a lovely location but with a bit of attention to detail could easily have been amazing! Even with the â€˜minorâ€™ issues, we would definitely return.
