With so many great places to eat, shop and drink within very easy walking distance, you may well be tempted to park up and spend the days sunbathing, paddling, wild swimming or enjoying walks along the beach. In the evenings, dine out and raise a glass or two in the bustling town centre.

Discover dramatic cliff-top walks, wide sandy beaches and grassy dunes, salt and clay marshes, picturesque quays, creeks and tiny harbours. From here it is really easy to visit the heart of the Norfolk Broads, where you can be ready to board a water-tour or charter your own day launch in around 40 minutes. You can even get there by train from the nearby mainline train station, which will also take you to Cromer and on to Norwich with its glorious Norman castle and numerous attractions.
