Den bĂ€sta platsen i staden! Jag har försökt att köpa ett hus i batteriet i flera Ă„r och hittade slutligen den hĂ€r vattnet, 5 Ă„r gamla fantastiska Outer Battery hem! 2 bĂ€ddar och 2 bad över 1700 kvadratmeter och fantastiskt lĂ€ge ... Öppet plan och utsikt frĂ„n stĂ€lle att bo .... Feb 2016 kallade Conde Nast Traveler det yttre batteridorpet en av "vackraste stĂ€llen i Kanada ... ". De fortsatte med att sĂ€ga "... Solig gul, körsbĂ€rsröd, turkosblĂ„-St. Johns popkonstfĂ€rgade hus, kollektivt kĂ€nda som Jellybean Row, ser sĂ€rskilt awe-inspirerande clustered i klipporna i det hĂ€r atmosfĂ€r-drenka kustnĂ€ra kvarteret precis utanför centrum ... "

Vi Àr bokstavligen steg till spÄret för att gÄ upp till Signal Hill National Park och ha andra vandringsleder tillsammans med nÀra tilltrÀde till Grand Concourse urban trail system. 5 minuter frÄn centrum med bil och 10 minuter till fots. Den har ett dÀck med panoramautsikt över hamnen och ute för att se.

Detta Àr den bÀsta platsen i staden och en bra bas för att njuta av denna fantastiska provins!

A fantastic house in one of the most beautiful locations on earth. The harbour views are stunning with endless boat and bird watching opportunities. The house is just steps away from an incredible hiking trail up to Signal Hill. We loved our stay.

I cycled across the country and staying at this home was like finding Shangri-La. It’s better than advertised. Mornings and evenings were spent on the patio overlooking the harbour watching ships go by and looking for whales. The dining table offered the same view. The shower was excellent (and much needed) and the two main bedrooms also looked out on the water and were great. The proximity to Signal Hill and its incredible hike (as judged by the popularity and steady stream of hikers) is an added bonus. Yes, the final bit of road is narrow and the parking is tight; some may find it a challenge but it was fine for me. Thanks for an awesome time!

The property couldn't have been in a more beautiful place! To wake up every morning, open the door and be "on the water" at the mouth of St. John's harbor was AMAZING!Very clean, VERY well stocked in the kitchen. The bed was more comfortable than my own. We loved getting up and, being a very short walk from the trailhead, take the scenic trail up to Signal Hill. Wow!Thank you Pat for sharing your home with us!

This would be definitely one of the best hidden gems we have found! We absolutely loved this place: the view is breathtaking and the location couldn’t be better. Highly recommended stay! We’ll be back soon!

This property is truly a piece of paradise right on the water. The host is incredibly kind and understanding and we wanted for nothing. Strongly encourage you to visit this property. Just also advise that you be very mobile, as there are several hills when you are out walking. We all just loved staying here!

Once in a lifetime experience of St. John's!

Our stay at Patricia's Luxury Waterfront Home at the bottom of Signal Hill more than exceeded our expectations! The two decks were the most amazing place to sit and relax in the morning / evening with full panoramic views of the harbour & inlet which can also be seen and enjoyed from the bright & clean upstairs kitchen & family room. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee & tea plus all the pots and pans you might need for cooking. The two bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with waterfront views. (Our kids, ages 9 & 10, found the 3rd bedroom/den a little claustrophobic and opted to share the 2nd bedroom.) As others remarked, the street access to the house and driveway are VERY narrow - I wouldn't suggest arriving in the dark as it could be a real challenge. The location is perfect if you also enjoy hiking up Signal Hill to take in the breathtaking views along the coast. Thank you Patricia for being such a gracious host - we hope to come back again!

When we entered the property we were thrilled with the cosy clean feel of the home. We stayed 8 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. Water views from every angle. The home is very well equipped and the pics do not do this place justice. Its paradise. Only bit of stress was getting the car in and out of the area for a small stretch that is only one lane. Parking was no issue. Highly recommend this property.

A wonderful vacation cottage

We had a terrific stay at this cottage. It was well-equipped and was located in a wonderful location. It was hot during at stay in St John’s but the ocean breezes cooled us while we sat on the deck. Highly recommended!

We did not make it to Newfoundland! Nobody stayed!

Unfortunately we didn't make it to your property. Our flight from Waterloo International airport was about to land in st.johns when he decided it was too foggy and flew us back to Waterloo. 12 hours on a plane to end up right back where we started. We lost our transportation also, no cars to be found on the island to rent. I reached out to VRBO try and cancel our stay but I have not received a response Some sort of refund would be nice as we never even entered said property. Yours truly, Christine

we really enjoyed staying here. just sitting out on the deck and watching the Harbour was great. walk to town didnt take long. the place was very clean and had everything you would need.we felt we couldn't have picked a better place to enjoy our time in st.johns.

This is very comfortable accommodation in an historic location with fabulous views of the St. John’s harbour. Well appointed, charming house close to Signal Hill, Quidi Vidi and downtown. Very friendly neighbors. We enjoyed our stay here.

Home In The Battery

Wonderful home right on the waterfront! This is a terrific place to stay in St. Johns were you can see both downtown St.Johns and the open ocean from the same spot. Lot's of windows and natural light in the design of the home which make your views that much more enjoyable. You can easily walk up and down Signal Hill as it is practically beside it. Highly recommend.

A weekend in the Battery

This was an excellent location if you’re looking for some waterfront relaxation with a short albeit hilly walk to St.Johns. Great location for some spectacular hiking as well. We are hoping to come back again. Everything was perfect. :)

We loved walking into St. John’s and up to signal hill but mostly just loved the view of the harbour from the whole place and both decks! The boats were so interesting to watch coming in and out! We didn’t want to leave this place!
