Bra läge i en landliknande miljö men mindre än några miles till lokal mataffär, bensinstation, Dollar General-de har praktiskt taget allt, tunnelbana och mer. Walmart är ca 5 miles away och staden är bara lite mer. Huset ligger på en slutgata som slutar vid vattnet på ett hörnparti med skärande kanaler. Kanalen leder till Chassahowitzka River och 7 Sisters Springs ligger nära huset via kanalen och vid ingången till floden. Den har en full gård med 2 bryggor, båda har lägre bryggor utanför huvuddockorna för att få tillgång till kajaker / kanot, en liten båthus (endast hälften av båthuset kommer med hus) och kommer med 2 kajaker för att spara dig hyra dem men om du behöver mer, hyror är bara några kvarter bort. Se till att du tar med eller bär flytvästar som de krävs enligt lag. Redningsvästar ligger i avskärmade rum utanför husets baksida. Se bilder på 12 'culvert som båtar måste korsa från hus till flod. Det finns en karta i huset om hur man kommer till floden. 2 sovrum, 1 med 3 enkelsängar, den andra har en kung bäddsoffa. Sovrummet har badrum med en trädgård stil badkar / dusch combo. Fullt utrustat kök med allt du behöver - allt disk / pots-n-pannor, bestick, glasögon, etc. 7 sovplatser med 3 i tvåbäddsrum 2 i sovrummet, 1 på en utdragen loveseat i vardagsrummet och 1 på soffan. Om du har mer än 7, finns det en 4 "skumkudde och en annan skumkudde i sovrummet garderoben med extra sängkläder för att rymma dem bekvämt på golvet.
Snabb Wi-Fi och kabel-TV i vardagsrummet och båda sovrummen och dvd-spelare i våningssäng så att du alltid kan spela en film, vissa DVD-skivor finns i hemmet.

Om du tar en båt, annan än en kanot eller kajak eller vad som helst du inte kan bära, måste du lägga in den vid båtlanseringen och för att få tillbaka den till huset, måste du kunna passa genom 12 "culvert. Vattnet är grunt, särskilt vid lågvatten. Pontoons som inte är däckbåtar passar vanligtvis, du måste sänka toppen, sänka fiskstängerna och bimini toppar. Bilderna visar passagen. De flesta båtar kan lägga in 4 kvarter bort vid Chassahowitzka River Campground lanseringen, större båtar kan lägga in på McRae på Halls River Road på Homosassa River. The Seven Sisters Springs ligger till höger när du kommer ut ur kanalerna i början av floden. Det är verkligen vacker och verkligen "Old Florida" inställning. Bra ställe att parkera kajakerna och simma i kristallklart källvatten. Några av fjädrarna ansluter och du kan simma genom dem och komma upp i nästa vår. Awesome canal waterfront, great host communication. Peaceful

Me and my family traveled here to visit my dad, and we had 4 adults, and two toddlers, and overall it was a blast! Even though the house is surrounded by other homes, it is very private (as it is on the end of a street, and there’s water surrounding it). The neighbors near by are very polite and kind. There are kayaks available for exploring the river (which is my favorite part). There is a Walmart, gas stations, and other convenient stores not 10 minutes away. The food here is amazing. Overall, it is a perfectly situated semi-private rental That anyone will enjoy.

Beautiful property

Perfect spot for a quiet family vacation. Saw lots of birds, fish, squirrel, & turkey from backyard. Loved the screened in porch! The few neighbors we met were very friendly!

Chazz Getaway

We had a wonderful time! My best friend and her family visited us from Texas and we wanted her first trip to Florida to be perfect!! The house was comfy and inviting, the property was clean and the owner was amazing. She was very helpful friendly and accommodating. We did some fishing off the dock, kayaked the chassahowitzka river, swam in at the crack and visited seven sister springs. We will definitely be back in the future!! 😊

Spring Fed and Spring Forward Family

Our Family had a wonderful time staying at this Vacation Home. The home and location was exciting for our Family members. Going to the Springs and Diving was really fun for our Grandchildren. We Fishef in the evening and played board games that the property owner had available! Most of all not worrying about renting canoes and kayaks was definitely a Plus. All the comforts of home

This cozy house had all the comforts of home and then some! Except for food we had everything we needed provided for us. Plenty of space for 4 adults to spread out and relax in between visiting family and exploring the area. My men loved having the kayaks/canoe to explore the Chaz. Such a wonderful location. Susan was an exceptional host and promptly responded to any questions. I"ve highly recommended this property to my family for their visits to the area and hope to stay there again soon.

Nature Lover's Retreat

Since it was winter, the steam off the water was beautiful in the mornings, however the water level was too low for any water activities. But it was too chilly for that anyway. To compensate we had bonfires each evening to warm the chilly air. Birds everywhere singing and being on a cul-de-sac, it was safe for our little dogs. Very enjoyable. Thank you Sue.

Great little home for a family get away

Sue was great to deal with, extremely helpful and willing to go out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The property was wonderful, allowing us to kayak daily, walk to the “crack” for a little piece of heaven and easy access to many amenities. The house was very clean and comfortable, well stocked with what we needed to vacation with our children and two young grandchildren. Wonderful experience!!

Christmas Getaway

We came down to Homosassa for Christmas with my daughter and her boyfriend. It was their first chance to see the manatees and fish in the Chaz. The Cool Chaz was a great place to stay and enjoy all the River had to offer. Sue was a great host and was quick to bring us extra heaters when the temperature dropped well below freezing. We had a great time.

Loved it!

Peaceful spot on the water. Very clean and communication with the owner was perfect. As stated, not fancy, but the perfect place to unwind and spend quality mother/daughter time in nature. We swam with the manatees, fished off the dock, kayaked the beautiful river and springs, and enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Would definately love to stay here again!

Sweet getaway

Love our stay. Clean, simple fun. We were able our bring our fur babies, which is a huge plus for us. Owner was able to get back with us quickly. Waterfront and close to local stores. Outside of actual food, everything we needed was at the house. Will rent again.

Absolutely amazing!

I am still in a relaxed state and we arrived home yesterday afternoon. We enjoyed our stay at this home more than any other places we have stayed and there have been quite a few others. The home is clean and has everything you need. We picked up some food and personal items on the way in. We didn't need to leave again for any reason(other than to pick up some more wine and beer😉). We relaxed on both of the beautiful docks on the property. We watched manatees float by each morning while having our coffee. We saw a baby alligator come visit every evening. If you are going to use the kyaks I suggest using the boat house to put them in the water and to get into them. It was so easy!!! We are in our 50s so we don't bend as easily as we used to so having that boat house at low or high tide was an extra perk for us! Lol!! The docks both have 2 levels for Kyak users as well. We brought our own kayaks and our guests used the house kyaks(which are high end fiberglass kyaks!!) They sit in between uses under a tree upside down so we rinsed them out just to ensure if any creepy crawlers were living in them they didn't crawl out while we were floating down the river!! Lol! My sister in law is deathly afraid of spiders. Hahaha! Anyway, just a thought. If you decide to rent this relaxing home you are in for a treat. It is so quiet in evening and in the day too. You also can sit on the docks at night, take a flashlight with you, make sure all lights are off and look up at the galaxy you live in. It is absolutely breathtaking!! If you make it down to the Seven Sisters Springs you are in for another beautiful scene. I could go on and on about this place but I will let you discover it for yourself. Now for Susan! She is so kind and just wants you to have a great time. She allowed us to check in early, even though we hit traffic and weren't able to take advantage of it. She then permitted us to check out later!!! She answers your messages promptly if you need her or have any questions. She is all about making sure you are taken care of. Please know that if you decide on this place for your spot to vacation you will not be disappointed in the least. We took our fur baby with us and she had the best time ever!! Just make sure Susan knows you are bringing yours if you do. I forgot to mention we were about half way to Seven Sisters and the sky opened up and it RAINED!!! I mean it R A I N E D!!!!!! We were laughing so hard that my brother in law tipped his Kyak🤣

Spacious with comfortable and convenient location

Had a great time staying here. Sue is an excellent host with great communication. Took one of the kayaks out on the canals and into the Chaz river to explore some of the beautiful springs. I was traveling alone but the place was large enough for a family to comfortably fit in. Everything was clean and lots of amenities. Kitchen stocked with plenty of kitchenware, coffee maker, fridge, stove, etc. Screened patio was nice with table and chairs and had lots of gear for the water. TV, wifi, and DVDs too. My only regret is I didn't say long enough and next time I'll bring a fishing pole ;-)

Cute, comfortable place to stay and kayak from.

My boys and I enjoyed our stay! We loved that it was just a short and pretty paddle to the Chassahowitzka River. This cute mobile home had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the decorations had a nice nature theme. The owner was friendly and helpful! Will definitely consider this place for future visits to the area!

Great Quiet Location That's Made To Feel Like Home

This property had everything needed for a 4 night stay. Clean, quiet, linens smelled fresh and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to make family meals every night. Check-in, check-out procedures and all information needed were clear and the property manage made sure we knew we could text her for anything needed,. We would definitely recommend this rental property to friends and family and we would love to have the opportunity to stay here again next time we come down to visit family in the area.

Private and relaxing

This house is exactly as described. The only couple things I would say negative about it (knowing it is not the Ritz) is the floors and rugs are very dirty. Our socks were black by the end of each day or barefeet. Also at first the owner responded almost immediately but my last 2 texts to her were not responded to. Not a huge deal I was just hoping to extend our stay. The backyard access to the river is awesome! It was so easy to get on and off. It is a very quiet street. We will definitely stay there again. The washer and dryer was awesome to have. And the master bedroom bed was surprisingly comfortable for there being a lump right down the middle of it haha.

Chaz experience!

Excellent location to access the river. Easy to find location. Enough parking for 4 vehicles. Very close to shopping and restaurants. The kitchen is moderately supplied, could use a few pots but has mostly what you need. The master bedroom definitely needs a new mattress. Overall we had a great weekend and would definitely stay here again!

Family overflow

We rented this little place for a large family gathering. We live in the area and needed some extra sleeping space for out of town family. It definitely met our needs. Clean, with comfortable beds. Stacey was easy to work with as we had some family fly in on the redeye and we wanted an earlier check in.

River Rats

We love coming to the Chazz. We love everything about this Little River. This location was great. The house truly had everything that you needed. We could definitely use a good dust rag and I'm not so sure the bedding was washed. No smell of fresh laundry being done at all. When you walk into a home after seeing the cleaning lady there you kind of expect to smell a clean home but we didn't. There was also visible dust throughout. Overall we did enjoy our stay. Thanks for having us.

Felt very comfortable staying here. Comfortable bed, clean, and had everything you would need. Not the fanciest place ever, but location was great. Took the canal to 7 sisters springs & the crack. Beautiful & peaceful! Will be back!

Just what I was looking for

Quiet neighborhood and beautiful area. Kayaks were a grest added bonus. Comfortable amenaties, exactly what was stated and what we were looking for. Was able to utilize wifi to work a couple days. Nice place!

This is my 5th vacation rental so I know how to do it. You can see my reviews on Check Out The River in Weeki Wachee VRBO #797194. I'm originally from Detroit but have also lived in Chicago for a very short while, Las Vegas for a few years, San Jose California for a few years, Maui for 12 years and in and out of St Petersburg Florida before settling in Weeki Wachee. I love the serenity and peacefulness of the river and enjoy the nature especially seeing the manatees right out my window and on the river.

This place is just as nice as the Weeki Wachee River only on a different river. The Chassahowitzka River is much larger and wider. It boasts the 7 Sisters Springs/Gulf of Mexico Access. Boaters love it. It comes with 4 kayaks & 1 canoe that you can launch right at the house but there are rental places are just a few blocks away. The house is on the corner lot with intersecting canals that lead to the Chassahowitzka River. As soon as you reach the River the springs on on your right. There is a map of the River in the house but you can also stop at the campground for more information and pick up a map there. "The Crack" is very nice and interesting to get to. The river runs 5 miles to the Gulf of Mexico with lots of tributaries along the route. The house is very quiet and peaceful. Sitting in the yard, or on the patio or on one of the two docks is always calming and serene. The house is laid out with an open floor plan and has everything you will need for a great stay.

Centrally located with Publix grocery store, Subway, McDonalds, 7-11, Walgreens, Dollar General, Gas, being only a few miles at the corner of Miss Maggie Drive and US Hwy 19. You can visit lots of attractions from this home going North, South or East. Tampa with Busch Gardens, MOSI museum, Riverwalk a little over an hour from here. Homosassa is about 15 minutes North of here and Crystal River is about 30 minutes North- Crystal River offers the Three Sisters Springs. Weeki Wachee is about 20 minutes South of here and has the Mermaid Show and a boat ride and a water park at the State Park. Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park offers a boat ride as well, bird watching trail, wildlife sanctuary (zoo of sorts), manatee viewing. & more. Tarpon Springs/Clearwater Beach is about an hour South of here with great Gulf Beaches. Pine Island and Bayport Beaches are at the end of Cortez Blvd in Weeki Wachee. Orlando and all its many theme parks is about 2 hours away. The house Cool Chaz has an awesome waterfront location with easy access for many day trips or just enjoy the day on the Chaz river right in the backyard.
