Traditionell Lakeland Slate Cottage, Husdjur välkomna

Vacker, traditionell lakelandskifferstuga ligger i centrum av Bowness village men bara 5 min promenad till sjön Windermere och alla dess faciliteter, som restauranger, pubar och affärer. Denna stuga har 2 sovrum som består av ett rymligt dubbelrum och ett tvåbäddsrum samt ett nyligen renoverat lyxigt badrum. Nedervåningen finns en rymlig lounge med gasspis och franska dörrar som leder ut mot en solig, säker uteplats med däck. Bredvid loungen är ett fullt utrustat, modernt kök som leder till ett frukostrum. Det finns också en formell matsal på framsidan av huset. Stugan ligger idealiskt i Bowness centrum och har parkeringstillstånd för gratis parkering. Gratis trådlöst nätverk.
Förutom en nationalpark mottog Lake District världsomspännande erkännande 2017 när vi beviljades världsarvstatus av UNESCO! Något vi är extremt stolta över.

Lovely little cottage, full of charming character. Very well stocked for a home from home. Good location with beautiful walks on your doorstep….not too mention plenty of bars and restaurants which are dog friendly 🐶

Comfy cottage in a great location

This rental is in the heart of Bowness which is adjacent to the larger Windermere. Bowness has everything for a lovely stay -- ferries, restaurants, trail access and a movie theater, among other things. The cottage is a two bedroom with living room, kitchen and small eating area, and a front room used as a study. The kitchen was equipped with everything you'd need to prepare a meal. The cottage furniture is well maintained, and the bed comfy. Parking is available in front of the property, on a narrow lane -- we found a spot and then didn't use the car for the rest of our stay. Communication with the owner was very good. A lovely place to spend a holiday.

Great location

We've stayed at Growler cottage a few times now. Always a lovely stay. Great location to get to the hills for the day and then a walk into the town on an evening. The cottage is well equipped and lovely gesture of the dog biscuit tin for a little pooch. Will be staying again.

Great cottage, great location

Lovely cottage on the edge of Bowness, a couple of minutes walk to the centre with plenty of pubs and restaurants and the marina. Clean and comfortable for our 4 night stay and a parking permit was provided.

Growler Cottage Bowness-on-Windere

First visit to this cottage and we were not disappointed. Good location, situated within walking distance of all amenities. The cottage was well equipped, spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and hope to visit again.

Great base to explore from.

Great cottage for a break in the lakes. Very well located in walking distance from restaurants and shops, only a short walk to the lake. The cottage was actually bigger than we expected and a great size for 4 people. Would recommend.

Great Growler

Had a lovely stay for two nights (not long enough), 4 ladies of a certain age and dog. Excellent location. Everything in the cottage you could wish for even bowls towel treats etc provided for dog. The cottage looks small from the outside but the rooms are perfect for four people, and the cottage is bigger than you think. We hope to return thank you Tracey.

Spacious cottage

Brilliant location and we didn’t want for anything in the cottage. Lovely high standard and Tracy was so helpful and accommodating. We were due to travel home when storm Ciara arrived. We were offered the cottage longer until safe to travel home. So lovely to do that. We would love to visit again.

Excellent cottage, prime location

Me and my partner stayed here for 4nights over New Year and it was a great stay for us. Lovely personal touches for us and both our dogs. The cottage had a great amount of space and was really cosy. We would definitely stay again and the location is just perfect, we are frequent travellers to the lakes and this has been our best base yet.

We loved every minute at Growler Cottage

My wife, 3 year old daughter and I had a fantastic stay at the cottage. We make the trip to Bowness once a year and have stayed in multiple properties across the area, but this was by far the best. Starting with the location - you're in the heart of Bowness with everything being a few mins walk away. The property is well equipped with everything you may need (my daughter especially loved the kids crockery set) and is really cosy to return back to after a busy day out and about. My only gripe was the shower/shower curtain but that's more of a personal taste thing. Tracy was very responsive when we needed to get hold of her and was a fair host to deal with. All in all - great cottage, great host and we would definitely stay there again
