Our vacation apartment Baude III offers enough space for up to 3 people due to its room layout. Located in the attic, it is accessible via only one staircase.
In addition to the master bedroom, equipped with a double bed and desk, the apartment has another bedroom with a single bed. Thus, our Baude III is perfect for a vacation with a child, or for a time-out for two. In the cozy living area with sofa, armchair and show fireplace, you can relax in the evening while watching TV or reading.
You can reach the balcony of the vacation apartment via the living room as well as the bedroom. On a clear day you can see the summit of the Wurmberg in northern direction. In warm months you will find here a wonderful place for tea-time or for a bottle of wine in the evening hours.
Thanks to the location in the middle of the Harz Mountains, our Löwenbaude is also great for an active vacation with dog.

For families with children there are numerous recreational opportunities in the area, such as the adventure mountain Wurmberg or the swimming pool Braunlage. And also for couples who want to spend a romantic vacation, there are many beautiful places and destinations in Braunlage and its surroundings.

The residential building, which was built for the editor-in-chief of a regional newspaper in the 50's, was sustainably renovated in 2019/2020 and lavishly converted into vacation apartments to new construction standard. In the process, the exterior was also redesigned and parking spaces were created. A striking external feature of the Löwenbaude is the wooden facade of untreated larch in varying panel thickness (skyline contrast). In contrast, the interior design deliberately avoids the use of heavy wooden ceilings or dark wall paneling typical of the resin. In the interior mainly in the bedrooms and living rooms with modern accents in anthracite, cozy sofas and armchairs in friendly light earth colors. The spacious eat-in kitchens in exposed concrete look are lovingly and functionally fully equipped. The lighting layout of the apartments is playful and multicolored to suit the individual mood.
