Characterful Apartment

Great location! Characterful apartment, close to the Catedral de Barcelona and Boqueria market. Apartment is a little difficult to get to by taxi but there is the option of getting dropped off at Starbucks in the Placa de Sant Jaume which is closeby.

Excellent location

Right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. 5 minute walk to La Ramblas and the L3 Metro line. Shopping and restaurants right around the corner. I couldn't believe how perfect the location was. 2 spacious bedrooms. 1.5 bathrooms was a plus. Washing machine was a nice convenience.

Great spot!

Great spot in the gothic quarter just off La Rambla! It was perfect for our family of 4 (kids age 6 & 11). Apartment was clean and comfortable!

Gotic Fun

The location was perfect & we loved our stay. It's in a wonderful location & everything is walkable. Easily walk to restaurants, shops, waterfront, sights, metro, Las Ramblas, etc. The company next door has a hanging sign that lights up which was super helpful at night time. Great communication with the host and support accommodating. Was really nice to be able to do laundry in the middle of our 2- week trip. We stayed here for 4 days,

Perfect Location!

You cannot ask for a better location than this apartment! On a winding street in the Gothic Quarter, just steps from great bars, restaurants and cafes. The apartment itself could use some sprucing up, and we couldn't get the mini split to heat the apartment more than 18deg C, so it was chilly. But, I would stay here again just for the location...absolutely perfect!

Gothic Quarter stay in Barcelona

The location of this apartment is wonderful. We enjoyed the narrow winding streets of the oldest part of the city. The history, architecture, shops, and proximity to the market and sights was incredible.

Extraordinary location

The apartment is located near two major metro stations, easy to access, close to supermarkets, bakeries, and plenty of restaurants. It's next to La Rambla and not far from La Boqueira, close to those without having to suffer the noise of these places.The apartment is very nice, very well equipped. It has two bedrooms, which we had to use because my partner was coughing at night, and I was able to use the second bedroom to sleep. There are two bathrooms and a living room, which we really appreciated on rainy days. We felt right at home. A big thanks Juanjo for giving us an early check-in. Thanks to you, we were able to enjoy our day in Barcelona. We will return to Juanjo's apartment without hesitation.

Ideal Location!!

My husband and I stayed 9 nights and appreciated the size of the space with its 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The location cannot be beat! Ideally located so that you can easily walk to all of the landmarks and close to several restaurants and bars. The space could use upkeep and a serious deep clean i.e. shower, walls, floors. As previously mentioned by other comments, the linens have seen better days.

We had a lovely stay. The location was right in the heart of Barcelona. The owners were very nice and arranged new mwet up tumes after our plane had a major delay. Would have loved to stay longer.

Great place

We loved the place. It is in a great location, steps away from Plaza de Sant Jaume. We walked to everywhere we wanted to go (and while some of our walks were pretty long, the town is amazingly beautiful and there is so much to see; also - it was a good exercise to burn off some of the calories from the incredibly delicious food we ate). The apartment itself is cute and pretty spacious, with two good sized bedrooms, a big living room, one and a half bathrooms and a small kitchen. There was even a washing machine, so we’re able to do laundry. Check-in was easy - someone met us at the nearby Starbucks, led us to the apartment and showed us how everything works. Another review mentioned the noise outside - yes, you could occasionally hear some loud tourists yelling, or garbage being collected at 3am. However, this was something that we encountered pretty much everywhere - Madrid, Malaga, Granada… All central locations are full of people, and this is a country that stays up late. Another thing we found in most places in Spain was that if one of you take a 30 min hot shower, the next person should wait for a bit for the water to warm up. You learn and adapt. Overall - an amazing place. We would absolutely stay there again.

Beautiful apartment located in a great area.

An oasis after a busy day. There were several really good restaurants just a few steps away. We had good contact with our host and we'd definitely stay here again.

Great location and spacious apartment

The apartment was very spacious, clean and in a great location. We were steps away from the Boqueria market as well as the metro. The gothic quarter itself has so much to explore and is very lively. Would stay here again.
