Amazing location one block from Oxford St, Marble Arch station Excellent communication with owner. They even provided a decorated Christmas tree!! Flat is classically London in layout and amenities. We were a family of 3 adults and a cat over Christmas and were very comfortable. Thank you for a very memorable stay!

Excellent location!

We were centrally located to everything we had wanted to see or visit which made it nice. A secure building with someone at the front desk at all times which made us feel extra safe. The unit could use some updating but had everything we needed for a good stay.

Great Service. Good location

A plumbing issue meant the property manager had to relocate us to a much larger space 15 min walk away.When we arrived at the location of this review, it was much older and arranged differently from the original pictures we viewed.

Great Location

We found it easy to get around London from here, and particularly enjoyed Hyde Park and the many middle eastern restaurants nearby. The place was tiny and clean, and the beds comfortable. It’s in an older building, a bit frayed around the edges, but we didn’t mind. It’s easier to contact the host through his personal What’s App (which he gave us at check in), not through the in-app messaging or business What’s App provided by VRBO.

Nice stay

Overall a very good stay. The owners were good with communicating. Better over Whatsapp. Had an issue w the code at first but was able to get cleared up quickly. Rental is spacious and clean. The only complaint was the shower. VERY low pressure.

Great location, property could use uodating

The location is fantastic. Convenient to many great restaurants and easy to get to many great sights. The property itself is quite dated, with a very small and slow elevator (or walk up 5 flights, which we did when we weren’t carrying luggage). The flat itself is very dated. Comfortable beds though. It was also quite hot when we were there and the fans were not quite enough to keep it cool.

Poor Flat!

The flat was very outdated, needed repairs and a good cleaning. The pictures made it look better than it was. The shower worked poorly. The communication with owner was poor. The location was good.

Very bad experience

We ended up not staying because of the over all appearance of the property. We turned right around and booked two rooms at the London Hilton Metropol and it was clean and actually cheaper than the cost of the VRBO property.

Great Spot to Explore London From

Location is fantastic, nice neighborhood with lots of options for food/pubs and very walkable to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Super close access to the Central line for easy access all over the city via the Underground. Communication with property manager is nonexistent on the app, just use WhatsApp to coordinate arrival and property manager was very helpful there. Side note for American travelers, no AC but there are fans (and can always open windows for a cool breeze. Water temperature is pretty good too, much better than I've had during some other stays in England.

Inaccurate listing

Overall, our stay in was disappointing. A lot of the furniture was broken such as the dresser drawers, wardrobe doors, TV, and washing machine. The beds were uncomfortable. The furniture in the living room area was covered in really short hairs (possible animal hair). The toilet in the bathroom was constantly leaking. Worst of all, on the day before we were checking out the water stopped working. Contacted the host was also difficult with no responses mostly. The only good thing about the place was it's location near the Marble Arch.

The location was absolutely fantastic! Close to bond street underground and marble arch underground. Checkin was a bit difficult only use what’s app to contact the host. Did not respond via the app. The apartment was very outdated every window pane had broken windows.. dressers were not usable all the drawers were broken. The shower has absolutely no pressure.. the apartment overall needs to be completely redone.. although the beds were very comfortable and the doorman was lovely and such help in all that we needed to know..until a revamp would definitely book elsewhere.

Top Lage und schöne Wohnung

Wir haben uns mit den Kindern sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Mobiliar könnte teilweise mal erneuert werden da Schubladen lose sind und man sie nicht mehr richtig benutzen kann. Die Fenster sind undicht ( nicht alle) so dass es im Winter kalt werden dürfte. Ansonsten gibt es alles was man braucht dort. Würden wir wieder nehmen
