The Villa In The Sun is located on the sunny side of a hill at 200 meters above sea level. The absolute protagonist is the panorama of the endless valley and the SUN, which from morning to evening creates a wonderful light atmosphere until sunset with breathtaking landscapes. The typical Tuscan countryside with cultivated hills, olive trees and vineyards will immerse you in an atmosphere of relaxation and enjoying a holiday with friends and family.

The space
The villa has been recently renovated and equipped to offer its guests the best hospitality in a refined Tuscan style. Stone, beams and terracotta ceilings left exposed. All apartments have air conditioning, a comfortable loggia and a gazebo for outdoor dining.

All around an evergreen garden, a terrace with table and brazier for dining under the stars. Villa represents an ideal location to appreciate privacy and tranquility without having to give up the comforts located in the immediate vicinity. In fact, it is located 2 km from the village of Pomarance with shops, restaurants and cafes. We are among the unique landscapes of the Val di Cecina, the land of the ancient villages (Pomarance, Volterra, Montecatini Val di Cecina), as well as the numerous oases and reserves, such as Berignone and Monterufoli, that surround the immediate surroundings. A few kilometres away are the sources of the Cecina River with beautiful waters for swimming and enjoying untouched nature.

The villa is part of an organic farm producing extra virgin olive oil and quality wine, which can be tasted in the villa upon request.
Upon request, we can organise breakfasts, lunches, dinners or tastings of local products.


The Villa
Villa In The Sun consists of two apartments and one studio apartment and can accommodate up to 18 people. There are 8 bedrooms (5 double bedrooms and 3 bedrooms that can be used as quadruples, triples or doubles if necessary), 5 bathrooms (each with shower, bidet, toilet and sink). All apartments are on the ground floor each with an independent entrance and each has its own equipped kitchen, barbecue, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, moka pot, toaster, kettle, American coffee machine.

The MANDORLO apartment is about 100 square meters. There is a living room, kitchen with sofa and extendable table, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower and a mezzanine , closed on one side with a curtain, with 4 single beds.

The apartment Il FICO is about 120 square meters. There is a living room, kitchen with sofa and extendable table, two bedrooms with double bed, two bathrooms with shower and two mezzanines, closed on one side with a curtain, one with double bed and one with 2 beds, if necessary it is possible to add 2 more single beds.

The studio apartment L'OLMO is a 36 sqm with independent entrance in the garden near the swimming pool has a private space with table, deck chairs and a beautiful view. Internally a comfortable double bed, a complete kitchen and table. It can accommodate 2 adults and one children (with an extra bed).

The property

The park that surrounds the farmhouse covers approximately 11000 m2 on the hills with cultivated fields, a large olive grove and a small vineyard.
Property consists of 2 villas separated by a fence but can be booked together. The garden has evergreen lawns and a variety of plants, fragrant shrubs, as well as many olive trees and cypresses, which create ideal conditions for enjoying the atmosphere of this region.

Swimming pool
The magnificent fenced pool is located about 20 m from the farmhouse and can be reached via cobblestones or stairs. The 16m x 8m rectangular pool is lined with sand-coloured PVC and fitted with Roman steps, has a cobbled beach on the shore and a waterfall from which you can hear the sound of the water. In the accessible part, the depth is about 70 cm for at least 4 meters, where children can easily get wet, and then gradually increases to 1.50 m. Surrounded by a private sunbathing area on a large green lawn, where gazebos, umbrellas, sun loungers and sun-beds. The pool is disinfected with chlorine, it can be used at night thanks to the lighting both inside and outside the pool, there is a shower with cold water. It will be available from the first Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.

Parking: the farmhouse can be reached by car to the apartments. There is private parking even for larger vehicles.

Animals: the admission of animals into the structure must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.

The rate includes: utilities, water, gas for cooking and hot water, electricity, weekly linen, initial and final cleaning, Wifi, Parking.

The rate does not include: extra cleaning in the presence of animals (€ 40 per stay per animal). Tourist tax (where applicable).

Upon request: extra cleaning (€ 22/h per person employed), extra linen (€ 15 per person), heating (€ 30 per day), wood (€ 20/100 Kg).
