Charming Studio Apartment Near Clapham Common
Summary:
Lovely studio flat with separate kitchen. This is my London pied-Ă -terre where I live during the week. Itâs just a short walk to Clapham Common or a 5 minute bus ride to Clapham Junction, so there is great access to Central London and the City.
The Space:
This is a very comfortable and cosy studio flat in a lovely part of town. Itâs on the upper ground floor of a period townhouse and consists of a combined living/sleeping area, a bathroom and a separate kitchen.
LIVING AREA / BEDROOM
The room is full of light from the windows overlooking Victoria Rise, and tastefully furnished with a large corner sofa, coffee table and flatscreen TV. Thereâs then a very comfortable double bed on a raised mezzanine area to the rear of the room. Please note that thereâs no formal dining area, as typically itâs just me living here.
KITCHEN
The kitchen lies just off the main living space and, despite being a very compact affair, is equipped with all the essentials: oven, hob, fridge, toaster and kettle. Guests are welcome to help themselves to the teas and coffees provided.
BATHROOM
The bathroom also lies off the main living area and comprises of a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, toilet and basin.
COVID CLEANING SAFETY MEASURES:
We are a professional short let management company with operations in major UK cities. We meet and exceed the COVID-19 cleaning guidelines set out by the WHO and the UK Government to guarantee the safety of our guests:
Our professional cleaners:
Use DETTOL * (and other may be used) brands alcohol and bleach-based products
Spend extra time disinfecting high touch surfaces such as switches, knobs, handles, remotes
Wear face masks and gloves
Do not leave excess linen in properties.
Guest Access:
Guests have complete access to the apartment. Additionally Iâve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you before and during your stay to help with any requests/questions during your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Clapham is an area thatâs abuzz with local life due to its fantastic transport links into Central London, the City, and its proximity to Clapham Common. There are loads of great pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep.
Anyone who knows the area will appreciate that this is a perfect base for accessing the wider City, whilst living amongst an authentic and vibrant local community. Nearby Clapham Common makes this location absolutely perfect for runners and walkers.
Getting Around:
UNDERGROUND
Clapham Common (10 mins walk) is on the Northern line with a direct line to the City (Bank/Moorgate). Total journey time is ~25 minutes. Equally you have direct access to Waterloo (15 minutes), Leicester Square/Soho/Covent Garden (25 minutes).
OVERGROUND
Clapham Junction station (just 5 minutes bus ride away) provides easy access to Westfield (10 mins), Canary Wharf (25 mins) and Shoreditch (25 mins)
Other Things to Note:
-Please note you must confirm your check in time 24 hours in advance in order to arrange and confirm your check in.
-All guests must present their passport/ID upon check-in
-For check-ins after 10pm there will be fees
-If you fail to arrive at the property within an hour from your scheduled arrival time there will be a fee of ÂŁ10 for each extra hour you are late. If we need to rearrange your check-in to a later time on the day there will be a ÂŁ20 fee (if the check-in is later than 22:00 late check-in fees will also apply).
-If you are delayed, please let us know in advance, and depending on the notice, we may be able to able to rearrange check-in.
- For check-ins between 22:00 and 00:00 there is a ÂŁ50 fee.
- For check-ins after 00:00 there is a ÂŁ75 fee
- We may be able to arrange a late check-out after 10am if you let us know in advance and depending on the availability of the property.
- Late check-outs are charged at ÂŁ10 per hour after 10am.
- If you break something, let us know before you check-out so that we can replace it before the next guest arrives.

The management is done by a lovely local team - once a booking is accepted they will be in touch with the arrival time details and answer any queries you might have during your stay.
