Charming Stay

We were in the area for a couple days for an event in Roadhouse. Carrollton was incredibly charming and we really loved the Farmhouse loft. We got food at the pizza place next door and I had the BEST meatball sub! We really appreciated being able to bring our dog along on our trip as he can be very anxious when we are away. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect Stay

We had an overnight stay during a very long roadtrip, the loft was perfect and we were able to have a very relaxing night after eating some of the best pizza I have ever had, highly recommend the place just a few hundred feet away. Communication with owners was perfect.

Lovely and spacious Loft with adorable farmhouse theme

A great and convenient space with all the necessary amenities. We flew into town for a wedding and it was nice to have everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was very accommodating and even allowed us to check in early. Instructions were easy peasy and turnkey. Would definitely recommend to others.

Location on the Carrollton square is great. Very clean and well equipped and lots of personality. Perfect for our one-night stay for a family reunion. Stairs were not a problem for us but might be for others.

My daughter and I came up to explore our geneology and visit local cemeteries. I wish I had known how steep the stairs were, but we made it. We would chiise a different venue next time.

Beautiful Stay

What a lovely accommodation. The space is gorgeous, but all the extras really made the difference. A pack and play, high chair, and toy cupboard helped make staying out of town with our toddler relaxing. The laundry facilities were a life saver. Overall, we were extremely impressed and thankful.

Charming & Comfy 2-Bedroom Apartment

This rental has lots of comfy furniture for laying, sitting, eating, etc. There were basics in the kitchen and bathroom, including plenty of towels, TP, etc. The decor had lots of cute and charming decorative touches like signs, knickknacks, the dinnerware, etc. I also felt plenty safe and secure during my visit alone with my 2 cats. The apartment could benefit from a deep clean (window ledges, dishes, living room rug, under beds, bathtub, etc.) and a few small repairs (kitchen bulbs, broiler drawer on stove, etc.), but overall nothing about these items made the stay unpleasant. Noise can be an issue, specifically a) the original wood floors loudly squeak when walked on, and b) local drivers have trucks with loud exhaust pipes, which you hear as they drive around the square day and night (there's a stop sign right outside the main bedroom / front windows). Overall, I think it's a great option for the price!

Husband/wife dynamic duo -- another small-town Chip + Joanna Gaines. We recently built our own home from ground up. We also enjoy taking on big projects such as the Farmhouse Loft. When the apartment became vacant we took it as an opportunity to give back to our community by creating a unique space for visitors (and locals) to getaway. The building we own on "the square" in downtown Carrollton is one of the most historic properties in the area. With the Farmhouse Loft we gutted the entire apartment to barebones and found the perfect balance of exposing history through 1800s brick and hardwood floors while pairing it with updated amenities. We are looking forward to creating more spaces in our town in the very near future!
