We never got access to this property. Offered unsuitable alternative. VRBO staff extremely helpful and a refund was sorted

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! I tried for the whole week before our trip to contact the host, email, WhatsApp, text, phone, voicemail but no reply. I contacted Vrbo who also had no luck. We were due to check in at 4pm Friday for an event on Saturday. We had to wait until 2pm to ring Vrbo again and only then we could book something else under their guarantee. However finding somewhere at 2pm on a Friday for two nights in Warwick on a weekend when there was a huge event on was tricky!! Finally found a hotel but it was twice the price, but we had no option! I was initially told by Vrbo that they would cover upto £200 a night so all good, until I then had to ring again at 4pm to be told the max refund was upto £328! So VERY stressful week / day followed by an hour on the phone to Vrbo and £100, and now I need to send evidence of my new booking, even though it was still through Expedia group! So not only a no show at this property, but the parking advertised although right outside cannot be used for longer than 24hrs you have to move to another car park,

Truly appalling standard of quality and cleanliness that is inexcusable. Entrance information was not sent and had to chase up on the day. This was put down to a sick staff member which I accepted at the time but in retrospect was a sign of the poor standard of this operation who appear to have multiple properties. Black condensation surface mold in numerous areas throughout the property. Thick layers of skirting boards door frames and furniture. Broken wardrobe draws. Broken Ironing board. TV aerial not functioning so unable to watch terrestrial channels. Washing machine left full of wet towels. Old coffee which had turned blue left in storage jar on the kitchen side (That does not happen quickly). No information pack for the property which is standard for an apartment rental. Responded to request for urgent cleaning which was responded to buy standard of the rectification was purely cosmetic with the bulk of the issues remaining. Great location but unfortunately operated by owner who has no interest in providing anything like what should be expected.
