The villa is located 5 minutes walk from Toureettes Sur Loup.
This charming retro villa is very light and spacious with a unique mezzanine and glamorous downstairs bathroom. The villa has a 12m pool set in a garden of citrus, fig and olive trees. Ideal for a group of friends or families there are lots of areas to relax in and also a mini sports pitch, a tree house in an ancient olive tree.
It is 30 mins from Nice airport.

The property is a large villa - we have 3 rooms - 2 are large rooms which can both be family rooms if required.
Room 1: bedroom and an ensuite bathroom/toilet on the ground floor and additional separate toilet. The downstairs bedroom can be either two single beds or one double.
The downstairs is an open plan lounge with a double height curved minstrels gallery modelled on the form of a grand piano. The lounge is a large open space leading to a light spacious kitchen. It is open and airy and South East facing so cooler in the afternoons. The kitchen diner has double doors opening on to the cover dining area outside.
Stairs from the lounge lead to two large rooms upstairs including a shower room and separate toilet.
Room 2: Is very spacious with a super-king double bed and can accommodate a bunk bed too if required. it is double height and has double doors that open onto a balcony with a panoramic view towards Nice and of the Mediterranean.
Room 3: Is a family room with a king size bed with a set of bunk beds in it and views of the hills and sea from the windows.
We are very happy to welcome our furry friends and if they cannot swim there is a fence around the pool for safety. There are shallow steps out of the pool which allow for easy access for everyone. The garden is enclosed all around.
You will have full access to the house except the garage, and cellar.
There is parking for 3-4 cars on the property.
The villa is situated just 5 minutes walk to the medieval perched village. At 500m elevation it has magnificent views of the coast from its nestled position on the balconies of the Mediterranean.
It is bustling artisan french village full of artist studios and boutique shops enticing passers-by to stop at browse. There are several cafes and over 20 quality restaurants including Clovis 1 Michelin Star and other gastronomic restaurants offering a fabulous dining experience set amongst the ancient cobbled streets of Tourrettes.

In the village there are 2 bakeries, a butchers, grocery shops with fresh fruit, vegetables and local cheese, meat and wine with all you need as well as a mini supermarket.
Cafe du Midi and Cafe Du Sport are great for unwinding with a cold beer or 'The Cave' for a glass of local wine and watching french village life unfold on the main Place.
There is a typical local colourful market every Wednesday 9am to 1pm where you can sample delicious french cheeses, olives, find original locally crafted pottery and floaty summer dresses and sun hats to give that holiday feeling.

There are lots of walks around the village or you can hike up into the hills behind to discover even more magnificent views maybe discover a tiny chapel hidden away, or the hermits cave with panoramic views or even a glimpse of one of Antti Lovag's famous 'Bubble Houses' built in the forest high above Tourrettes.
You can hike up to the nature reserve at Courmettes a scientific nature study center and follow their trails to view the beautiful fauna and flora at 850 m elevation. Or enjoy the views and visit the Cheverie to buy fresh goats cheese or the Bergerie next door for lamb chops and merguez sausages!
Cycling is also a great way to get around and there are some amazing cycle routes from Tourrettes to Vence up to the Col de Vence, Cousegoules and through the Loup Valley
Vence, an historic town, is a 10minute drive away, 5 minute bus ride or a 45 minute walk. Vence is a large town with buses to Nice airport (09,655) and to Nice (09,655) centre as well.
Transport:
There is a bus (651) from the village every couple of hours to get to the Vence (East) or Pont Du Loup, Grass (East) West
You can also take the bus to the nearest train station, Cagnes-sur-Mer where you can get a train either way along the coast to Monaco and Italy or towards Antibes and Cannes.

Nice airport is 35 minutes away via car or taxi or you can take the bus or train using the routes mentioned above.
