Le Panche - Lanciole ,Tuscany

“Le Pache” is a part of a characteristic stone house in Tuscan style located in Lanciole (at 650m above the sea level), which is a little, tiny village in the area of the Svizzera Pesciatina.
This mountain area, which owes this name to a Swiss tourist who came here in the 18th cent., comprises an impressive landscape covered by chestnut trees and dotted with 10 old hamlets, where time has apparently stopped. Once that you have driven past the centre of Pescia, you just follow the road by the river side which winds uphill for several miles. Along the road you will meet, one after the other, these little hilltop hamlets.
The house has a beautiful, well kept and partly-fenced garden with a lovely pergola with a table, chairs and barbecue for dining al fresco. Gorgeous views onto surrounding hills and the hamlet of Pontito. On the back of the garden there is a beautiful, partly in-ground pool (6m x 3m, depth 1,20 m), equipped with sun-lounges, sun umbrella, table and chairs.
Covered parking under a pergola for 2 or 3 cars.
The other part of the stone house is seldom used by relatives of the owner who stay there only for some weeks and not permanently. The have a private entrance and do not have access to garden and pool
The quietness and peacefulness of this place makes it ideal for those who wish to spend a relaxing holiday in close contact with nature:
Here you will have the chance of taking beautiful walks in the countryside, or discover the little hilltop hamlets of the area and taste their local products. Among these, it is worth mentioning the beans of Sorana which are the base of many local specialties.
The interiors of “Le Panche” comprises of: entrance in a small living room with 1 wooden sofa, fire-place, TV Sat, table and chairs. Kitchen with stove/oven (4 burners), fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, American coffee machine, Italian coffee machine, washing machine. Dining room with table and chairs.
A spiral staircase leads to the 1st floor where there are: 1 bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub, wc and bidet. 1 double bedroom with closet, chest of drawers and window with beautiful views, 1 single bedroom (this is a walk-through room, may be closed with 2 doors), 1 double bedroom with closet, night tables and window with beautiful views, 1 bathroom with shower, wc and bidet.
The furnishings are in rustic style, many pieces were restored by the owner himself in order to recreate a characteristic décor with the original materials like the Terracotta tiled floors, the beamed ceilings and the exposed stones in the walls.
