Villa la Contessa is a prestigious residence of ancient charm, surrounded by the beauty and tranquillity of the Tuscan countryside. It lies at the foot of San Miniato hill and consists of 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and 1 marvellous private swimming pool (14m x 7m, 1.5m depth, Jacuzzi) and all comforts such as air conditioning, wifi. It is the perfect choice for families and those who love nature and relax.
Villa la Contessa is part of a group of buildings and lands (12 hectares) located in “Poggio Buonaparte”, which got its name from the San Miniato branch of the family Buonaparte – the same of the famous Napoleone.
In 1701 it was given as a dowry to Maria Maddalena Buonaparte, who married the noble Bonaccorsi in the same year.
In 1805 the villa was given to the family of the current owners, who have preserved the historical documentation and many antique pieces of furniture.
The property has been completely renovated and has become an exclusive residence for those who want to spend their holidays between history and relax.
The villa consists of: ground floor with a spacious entrance hall, 2 beautiful living rooms with vaulted ceiling – the living room on the right has a sofa corner with armchairs and a dining area with a big dining table; you can access the kitchen from here. In the living room to the left there are sofas, armchairs, game board, state-of-the-art sat-tv, big fireplace and exit onto the garden.
From the living room to the right, you can access the big kitchen with 6 burners, 1 big oven and 1 small oven, microwave, American coffee brewer, toaster, blender, fridge/freezer with ice dispenser, exit onto a big terrace with parasol, dining table and barbecue.
1 toilet with wc and basin, utility room with washing machine, dryer, drying rack and ironing board, iron can be found on the ground floor.
A big staircase leads to the 1st floor: 4 double bedrooms and 2 bedrooms with 2 French sized beds (1.20m) open on the big corridor with sofas.
Each bedroom differs from the others in furnishing and atmosphere and is equipped with en-suite bathroom with shower, wc, bidet and basin, air conditioning, mosquito nets and tv.
It is possible to add 1 single bed in 2 of the bedrooms (on request). 1 of the bedrooms is equipped with barrier-free toilet.
There are 3 cots and 1 high chair available.
The villa features a big garden, which slopes until the marvellous private inground pool, 14mx7m, 1.5m depth with Jacuzzi, fitted with sunbeds, deckchairs, chairs and parasol.
Parking available within the property.
The villa has been furnished with great care, with antique furnishing and prestigious tapestries, terracotta tiled floors, vaulted ceilings in the living rooms and wooden-beams ceilings in the bedrooms, which are typical of the Tuscan style.

The quantifiable additional costs must be paid together with the security deposit, IN CASH, at CHECK-IN.
The extra charges, which are calculated according to consumption, are to be paid at the end of the stay.
