Large house, good location but several issues
The location of the house is good (e.g supermarkets, subway). The house is large, but there is no dining table. The rooms are cozily furnished and offer plenty of space. The bathroom is also very large.
Unfortunately, there were several issues: The bathroom door was blocked and couldn't be opened when we arrived. It wasn't repaired until the next afternoon, so until then we couldnât wash ourselves. This is quite inconvenient, especially when you arrive sweaty after a long Journey.
On the third day, it rained in one of the upstairs bedrooms in the evening. Because of this, the room was temporarily unusable, so two people had to move to the living room and sleep on the sofa for one night. Fortunately, we didnât have any more rain after that.
Additionally, contrary to the description, we were unable to watch Disney Plus on the TV.
Although the owner was quickly reachable and responded immediately, he was not willing to offer a discount despite the difficulties.
Overall, while we had a very nice time in London, the accommodation was somewhat disappointing due to these problems (and other smaller issues, such as some windows that wouldn't fully close, making it quite noisy from the street; a stove that didnât work properly; damp spots on the kitchen wall and in the lower bedroom). Additionally, we had to reschedule our plans twice because we had to wait for the repairmen or the landlord. On vacation, you donât want to deal with such things.
