5 star log cabin with sea views in Abersoch | Gorwel-Soch
Situated on the southern coast of Pen LlĆ·n, on the outskirts of Abersoch, lies Gorwel Soch, a five star log cabin with sea views. Set in an elevated spot on a sloping hillside this luxurious cabin is perfectly positioned to make the most of its stunning surroundings. To the front and side of the cabin a spacious patio offers uninterrupted views of the open countryside, with Mynydd Tir y Cwmwd (Llanbedrog Headland) rising to the left, the St Tudwals islands straight ahead and the majestic mountains of Snowdonia beyond. As views go, this one is hard to beat.
Just a short walk from the cabin is one of the area's many glorious beaches, this long sandy beach stretches from Llanbedrog Headland at one end, right round to Abersoch's inner harbour at the other. When the tide is out you can enjoy a pleasant walk along the beach all the way into the centre of Abersoch (roughly 1.5 miles), alternatively the village is a 2 minute drive from the cabin, or roughly a 30 minute stroll along the roadside footpath.
Inside the cabin is decorated in a fresh, coastal style with a twin bedroom, master bedroom with a double and a single bed, and a stylish bathroom with a full sized bath with overhead shower. The open plan living/ kitchen / diner has a fully fitted kitchen with washer-dryer, (very useful for those sandy beach towels!), a dining table to seat five, and a cosy living area designed to make the most of those special views.
Throw open the patio doors to enjoy indoor/outdoor living and make the most of the great outdoor space with a large dining table and double lounger seat which makes the perfect reading spot, or relax in the hot tub and enjoy a glass of fizz while you soak up the view.
This 5 star log cabin with sea views offers the best of both worlds, a peaceful rural retreat yet within very easy reach of the buzzing village of Abersoch.
A maximum of 1 dog is welcome at this property.
Please note - the cabin is accessed by 39 steps so is not suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt
This stylish five star cabin with sea views is just a two minute drive from the centre of Abersoch, or approximately a 30 minute walk either along the beautiful sandy beach or following the footpath alongside the road.
Once a small fishing village, Abersoch has long been a favourite with returning visitors and in the summer the village transforms into a vibrant holiday destination popular with all ages. There is a great selection of independent shops, restaurants and bars that sit alongside well-known high street names including Fat Face, White Stuff and Crew.
The village is popular with sailing and watersports enthusiasts and South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club, which sits perched on a rocky outcrop at the end of Abersoch Main Beach, hosts a full calendar of sailing events during the summer season. Abersoch Hydro, based just below SCYC, offers a wide range of activities to suit everyone from beginners to the more experienced, including sailing, powerboating, paddle boarding, kayaking and the Little Pirates club; watersports tuition and hire can also be arranged through Offaxis and Abersoch Watersports. This sandy beach boasts Blue Flag status and is especially popular with families as its shallow waters are generally safe with no strong currents.
While you could undoubtedly spend your whole stay in Abersoch itself there is plenty to see and do in the local area. The neighbouring village of Llanbedrog, just a five minute drive from Gorwel Soch, is well worth a visit. Famous for its brightly painted beach huts, this beach is another great choice for families and far quieter than Abersoch. But it's not all about the beach, why not visit Oriel Plas Glyn Weddw, an independent art gallery set in an impressive Gothic style mansion, or take a walk up Mynydd Tir y Cwmwd to visit the âtin man' sculpture and take in the panoramic views.
Walkers can explore miles of stunning, unspoilt coastline along the Wales Coast Path; surfers head to nearby Porth Neigwl / Hell's Mouth just outside the village of Llanengan, or Porth Oer / Whistling Sands on the northern coast of Pen LlĆ·n. The northern coast is generally a little quieter, and the landscape more rugged than the sheltered southern coast, with a wealth of beautiful beaches and secluded coves. Head to Porthdinllaen, with its famous âTy Coch' pub on the beach, Nefyn, Whistling Sands or Towyn, where you'll find the eclectic Cwt Tatws shop and cafe - the perfect lunch stop.
If you enjoy local history the National Trust visitor centre Porth y Swnt in Aberdaron is well worth a visit, as is the delightful manor house and gardens at Plas yn Rhiw. For a day out, nearby Criccieth offers the opportunity to visit the ruins of a once mighty castle, venture a little further to Porthmadog where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the Welsh Highland and Ffestiniog Railway, or step into another world at the quirky Italianate village of Portmeirion.
